  • Is it common to have to counter the wind even when it's just a slight breeze? Mine seems to just ride the wind no matter the speed. Aluminum boom kit?

  • Tip: Not good to land in Grass... I made that mistake and a single blade of grass shattered my wings.

  • BUY A BIG LAMA INSTEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Anyone have advice how to properly trim this helicopter settings for stable flight? I've tried to trim the controls with no success. Flying this helicopter in my front yard should be simple according to the hobby shop I purchased it from. They fly their model around the shop without any trouble despite the shop limited space with their displays. When I applied power to lift the helicopter off of the ground the helicopter rises off of the ground than starts to wander after a bit.

  • what's with the drive one crazy music

  • ive got the balde mcx 2 and msr i might get this 1 or the cx 3 next

    which one should i get?

  • im getting 1 of these for christmas how high do it go off ground

  • im getting 1 of these for christmas

  • very sweet heli, I just purchased the mini version that should be in next week :-D

Just one question, why aren't the bottom blades turning..?

  • @NickPech ... it's just an optical illusion caused by the frame rate of the video recorder... the bottom rotors work fine.

  • duh!!

  • there looks to be a problem with your lower rotor, either a problem or an optical illusion

  • whats the song?

  • Are there any differences between that heli and the CX3? I have the CX3 how easy is that one to fly? it looks pretty stable.

  • Ohhh yeahhh.....Who Dat!

  • What the hell.....fly it to the tree and back. I just bought one...my first helicopter. I love it.

  • Toilet mouth didn't know about lens shutter speed! hehe.. I'd love one, but my wife would think I was immature since I'm 54. By the way... WHO DAT!!

  • could this heli hold up 167g?

  • im getting this for xmas, you think i should buy a sim to practice on first or not?

  • Absolutely. Helis are hard to fly. Although, this one is not as bad (I'm not the pilot... but I've flown it). There may be a few free ones out there floating around the net (sims)... or buy an earlier version off ebay. Most of them are pretty accurate. Happy Flying!

  • @Shadowhawk30 you won't need a sim for a coaxial

  • no. not with a coaxial. just take it slow and youll get it.

  • It is not really important to get a sim if you are flying this heli. This was my first heli and it is very easy to fly. I now fly a raptor 50 a nitro heli and the cx2 eased me into flying helis. If you want a sim i would recamend realflight g4.5 or g5 it is about 100 bucks but it is worth it. (it helped me out alot when I bought a eflite blade 400) Happy flying and merry christmas!

  • i flew mine into my house and snapped the body and wings in half xD

  • this shit is half broke why would i want that shit??

  • its not broken its just that the rotors are moving so fast that the camera makes it look like there moving very slowly.

  • mine is really bad in wing... i don't know how its that stable inthis video. Nice flying!!

  • what is the name of the song,oh and nice heli I have the same with some battery problems :3

  • wtf is up with ur bottom propeller its not spining lols.

  • frame rate of the video / cam corder !!

  • I am having problems with my Heli. Are there any forums I can goto to get help? Anyone?

  • Try RCgroups or RCuniverse. Both should have more than enough for you. Good luck!

  • they will probably insult you instead of helping you

  • lol

  • How long does the battery last?

  • 8-10 minutes continuous flight...

  • nicce flitt

    biutifullo ok boiz

  • Nice flight. So you leave the servo arms alone to fly outside?

  • you shood muve the armes one space forword

  • is this good... should i get this or co commanche e-sky

  • it's a good beginning helicopter... if your an experienced pilot, you might want something with a little more zip to it

  • Nice flying! was there any wind? did u do anything to the linkage for better forward flight?

  • Very little wind.... and everything is stock. Thanks for the post. Happy Flying!

  • if your gana make a video make it good quality not where you have to pause it and let it load for 10 minutes

  • Sorry to burst your bubble, but the load time is based on YOUR computer and connection, not the video....

  • dude how high can that thing go???and thats a nice vid!!!

  • Thanks... maybe 100feet? The wind makes it pretty hard to fly. It's meant more for inside.

  • thats the same exact helicopter as mine no joke!! but for me i gettin the hang of it.

  • nice video is it hard to fly ??? are there any mess ups or problems u have had with it... thanks!!!

  • should i get this or a rc plae for christmas?

  • If you've never flown any RC before, get a plane - MUCH easier. But, the Blade is a good heli to start with if you gotta have one... I'd go with a Multiplex Easystar (plane). Easy to fly, nearly indestructible...visit my web channel to view videos of me with my Easystar.

  • plane if you know a big field you can fly in and heli if you dont have a big field to fly in

  • Let's not call it ground effect for this discussion - that term is more relative in fixed wing flying (which I do more of than heli's). What we are talking about is rotor wash. Inside, rotor wash bounces off of things and returns to affect the heli. I can have a smooth takeoff in my kitchen, only to find later that it takes more effort to hold a steady hover due to the rotor wash messing up the air inside. Outside, rotor was has fewer things to bounce off of (except the ground).

  • for some reason when i fly mine outside it is 10x worse for controlling is it to do with ground effect

  • Ground effect, for sure. But also even a slight wind...very sensitive...will cause trouble. You just have to be super sharp with the flying. Thanks for the post.

  • no problem , it seems that when i move the helicopter indoors a slight movement on the controller stick will move it well (the helicopter ) but out side even a large movment on the stick does not move the helicopter much atall. even when there is no wind is it because inside ground effect helps the helicopter to move?

  • hey with no tail rotor does this thing like to drift?

  • no it's actually pretty stable, especially for a training helicopter...

  • oh really i woudlnt expect that

    thanks man

  • have you crashed it yet?

if so did it do alot of damage?

and how long does the batt run for?

  • no major crashes... the battery runs about 10 minutes of continuous flight... maybe a little more...

  • Not really good for Outdoor-Flying.

  • Yeah, your right. It has to be super calm...

  • how much was it?

some guy recommended it and I was wondering :P

  • Less than $200. Not bad to start...

  • i have just bought one - will try it very soon

  • That's great! This is one of the best helis to get started on...yet still has tramendous flyability and fun later on.

  • Nice heli, i got a Lama V4 but this 1 looks cool to !

  • whats the song, also great flying

  • "Paralyzer" by Finger Eleven. Thanks for the post.

  • Sweet flight bro...I love my blade outside.
