  • Nice vid of Beeston castle. the ponds were actually bomb holes from ww2. If you look to the east of the castle you'll see a railway line and canal running parralell to each other follow them south and you come to Beeston train station. This station was used to transport fuel during the war, Where's the fuel? It was kept in vast underground tanks at beeston. Hence why it was bombed and why there are so many ponds.

  • @hthedog thanks for the update pal i shall look into that

  • this is awesome to see, my 21st great grandfather Humphrey Bohun VI was born in this castle

  • looks really nice there

  • youve been there

  • no i havent, ive been past it, never explored it

  • That's an idea, a tour of castles, the castle at Nottingham is small but nice. I've been past Beeston. I wonder if the camera would pick up the eerie feeling of Saddleworth Moore at dusk!

  • i have more castles in the can next up is clithero castle. and i find saddleworh worse at night more than dusk ill go and make a vid at dusk just for you and we'll see

  • I've never been to Saddleworth at night only during the day and at dusk. As it gets darker the place seems a lot different, a bit like Pendle Hill.

  • By the way, don't go on your own, Myra Hindley might be lurking around lol

  • i was up there the other day too i wasnt filming that day tho mite be a plan though ;/

  • Oh beautiful! This makes me long for summer sooo much.
