  • And some cannibus over there

  • Wow, your pretty spry. Must be all the good natural food. :)

  • Love it when he goes wild in the end. <3 Great example of a permaculture system!

  • What is the plant Mr. Pilarski indicates at 7:17? It sounds to me like 'subverdia argentia' but I cannot find any information on it.

  • I have been unable to identify the plant Mr. Pilarski mentions at 0:25 in the video - it sounds to me like 'philantes'. What plant is talking about, there?

  • @CSVickers1984 Spilanthes...a daisy-like medicinal herb AKA toothache plant.

  • Funny slip of the tongue ...."This was all filled with potato vine a minute ago"

  • Hilarious at the end!

  • WHat a great Garden...wonderful

  • My favorite part is the jumping around, poping in the garden (forest). Thanks, nice work that you share.

  • @Pathlessvoyager looks like gardening keeps us young

  • @TheSchwabyLlama Yep. Keep Popping. It is good cellular exercise. Neighbor's White cat is imitating.

  • You have a problem with poisonous snakes, rabbits, or other things you either don't want or don't want to run into?

  • god has blessed this man more richly tha he knows!!!!wheres the pond with crayfish,or bullfrogs,or catfish?marketable rescources for this wonderful man and his children and his childrens children.hope hes on ebay!!would love some seed!SPRINGS A COMIG!

  • wonderful overlap of all these wonderful species. Very cool!

  • How does he control weeds?

  • @bluesdog88 first, there aren't many weeds because there is very little exposed soil. Second, as time passes and this evolves into a food forest, there will be even fewer weeds. Third, 90% of the things people call "weeds" are not weeds in this system. So - there are hardly any weeds to control. Far more details at permies dot com

  • @paulwheaton12 Thanks for the reply, that's awesome so basically you can eat everything, I didnt realise that plants sent energy into the soil around them, great video great quality Thanks again ;)

  • @bluesdog88 everything he grows is weeds and I approve. edible weeds is the way of the future. I have a weed garden too but not as extreme as this man's. Wish I had the sun he has.

  • @FightUni09 Absolutely, I'm currently trying to grow dandelions and stinging nettles ;)

  • skeeter in the bush ... i'm getting weak in the knees. your knowledge is intoxicating.

  • Ahhh, there's nothing like a skeeter in the garden!

  • Very knowledgeable guy. I am curious - is the focus more on creating a "system" rather than crop yield, or do you get the benefit of both? Thanks.

  • @HotSauceJohnny the system gives you the yield

  • @paulwheaton12 Thanks. I've been thinking of trying this with part of my land. Weeds are the death of me every year.

  • Is this guy a MASTER or what?

  • I think Skeeter is part rabbit. it's awesome.

  • What is the location of this video?

  • @daveyellis tonasket, washington

  • @daveyellis tonasket, washington

  • @paulwheaton12 awesome garden, i love tonasket and the annual trip over the mountains to the beloved bater fair.

  • how do you get rid of ants, they took out a whole roe of turnips last year

  • @bret354 there are lots of folks that find ants are very helpful. But - for quick fix, I would use diatomacious earth. I wrote a whole article about diatomaceous earth at richsoil dot com

  • Very inspiring

Thanks very much to you and your subject

  • This is so beautiful.

  • This is MADNESS. What an oasis- I love the deserty hills behind him.

  • If I wanted to get into this guy's line of work, where would I start?

  • @BaronVonSTFU this particular guy does a LOT of stuff. did you have something a bit more specific in mind?

  • @paulwheaton12 How would I get into agrofarming as a career?

  • @BaronVonSTFU I think the first step is to get a shirt with pineapples on it. :) The second step would be to take a PDC.
