i did this this morning and i tryd to play goldeneye and it askd 4 n update i pressd it up dated fine then BAM! FULLY BRICKED wont trun on or nothing so be vrry carefull wen doing this but this dose work i downgraded it from 4.3 to 4.1 but DONT DO ANY SMALL UPDATES!

@MrMattydogz Sorry to hear about that. And yes, to all people; remember you are running code that Nintendo does not support. This might potentially cause problems for your device. ALWAYS make sure that the game's update matches the region of the current firmware. Also remember that you can use additional homebrew to bypass the updates ;)

works 100% as shown. Only had a few issues because I loaded all files from SD card. All files can be found online and if you get issue from trying to install the Wii system System Menu 4.1 check that this is the exact spelling on the sd card System Menu-NUS-v449.wad.

Hey, I'm trying to downgrade my 4.3u menu to 4.1u and I get to the point where I am trying to download files from NUS and I get all the 00000001-000000008 or whatever files but when it comes to the 00000000A-00000000E files the download errors then the program crashes. Sorry if that is a vague description but any ideas?

@AntwanPickett not entirely sure. To be honest, Im just giving some of my opinions. I never had this issue so I never had to deal with this. Try to make a Google search. You should try to have at least 512mb on the SD card. Maybe it'll work then.

I was able to download all these things, but they only installed after I went through and pressed + to install for a second time. The first time I always got an error message. And then when I get to the System Menu 4.1, it says error installing and goes back to the info screen, and when I press + again it errors with a bunch of numbers requiring a hard reset. After that my Wii is bricked. I've since restored my NAND Backup, but I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

@ElectronicHackz Also, if your wii is semi bricked (everything can work except for System Settings, just wait until a game that is DESIGNED for your region comes out and use any system update that is provided for it. I believe there are ISO images on the internet that allows you to just install a new system fro your region if you burn the ISO files onto a DVD
