I have never come across this clip in its entirity, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's out there somewhere. Btw. IMDB reports that the final song of Titanic was written specially for her voice but soundtrack producers want to see some great worrld name for better sales. They did a hard work to find any who can sing that song.

I sort of agree with you. Even though so many others have attempted the song, no one can replicate the heart-wrenching emotions we hear from Celine's original version. Thank God I found out it was Sessile', not Celine's voice in the movie, early on, soon after I saw the movie in 1998, so Celine did not get all the credit for such an outstanding job (at least in my eyes). I did not even like the My heart song that much, it was just the vocals and music from the movie that blew me away. I become addicted to them and soon started playing music from different parts of the movie on piano!

I so agree...I can't stand listening to Mariah Carey. I doesn't help my tolerance when I know that she herself thinks she is the greatest singer. She doesn't have a clue. Sissel has not been honored as she should be in the USA, but here in Norway, her home, she is loved so much that we can't get enough of her. She tours (sold out) and has TV concerts as well. We just had a new Christmas concert that was televised and she appeared with Jose Carreras. They did a duet... GOOSE BUMPS!!!

This song was actually made directly for Sissel, but some of the investors was afraid that she wasn't famous enough. That's why Celine got the "part" in stead of Sissel. Sissel has a much better voice and vocals though.

Sissel truly has one of the most purely beautiful voice colors I've EVER heard. I'd give anything to have her sing me to sleep each night =P So soothing.

As for people mistaking this voice for Celine's...well if one would just read the insert provided with the Titanic soundtrack, it would be clear the vocals belong to Sissel. But now that I listen a little more carefully, Celine's voice DOES sound quite similar when she's singing in her operatically. It's slightly darker.
