  • very well done my dad could use vids like this to teach his workers more(he is a safty director and has seen his share of gore).

  • @agentz100 Thanks, glad you enjoyed the video. Your dad is more than welcome to use the video.

  • There was ANOTHER very serious sefety mistake that was made. You should NEVER cut such a short piece on a tablesaw. It WILL kickback. The rule is the the piece should be longer than it is wide. meaning he can rip the piece on a tablesaw but to CUT that peice in half like he did, he should have used a radial arm saw OR a mitre saw.

  • I am pretty sure that was the point of the video. It is suppose to be overall awareness at the workplace, not just eye wear. We knew that a larger piece of wood would not have kicked back at him and that a shorter piece would. I went to a technical based high school that had a large wood working program. We are well aware. Thanks for the comment.

  • Nice work man!!!

    lmfao wetsernnn

  • Well done - I dont get what exactly happened to him but I thought it was real good ^_^

  • Nice video, but where is the guard on the saw?

  • haha, we took it off. super safe!

  • Well thanks. That is why I was confused on the message you were sending.

Were you addressing the importance of guard safety, or keeping focus on your work when performing dangerous tasks. It was only at the end when I realized you were referring to eye safety. You could have gone on several directions on this video.

But, I still might like to use it for my own company safety training.

Remember, safety first, safety last, safety always.

  • Definately true. We definately understood that it can be interpreted in several directions, thats why we tried to eliminate much as much speech as we could and let the conclusion be built by the viewer. We figured that we would push the video more towards the goggles and eye protection since we had the whole "focus on safety" pun on the end. Thanks for the comments.

  • lol, NICE JOB DONE:)
