scratched onto the teleport pad. He dreaded what lied at the other side. But, perhaps the Deimos Base held atleast one working shuttle. He stepped onto the pad,and immediately dissapeared. Hideous creatures swarmed around him, screaming. There was a flash of green light, and he found himself in the lost Deimos Base. What he saw shocked him. The walls were a horrible cross between stone, metal, and flesh. "Looks like I'm on the shores of Hell," he thought, "And the only way out, is through."

The survivors already on a shuttle out, the energy anomalies that prevented takeoff destroyed, and the Marine's last hope of escape, lost. He stared off into the horizon, and saw...something. He tredged on closer, only to find a large teleporter. The same teleporter used to transport supplies between the two moons of Mars. But...something was wrong. It was covered with demonic symbols and inscriptions, all clustering around a single baphomet, which itself was -CONTINUED IN NEXT COMMENT-

"Nice" is the wrong word to describe this. It is beautiful, like an intimate prayer straight from the heart... Makes me think of how the Marine must have felt in the end, after going through all that hell, lying down on the floor, aching in pain and exhausted... Whispering a prayer for all of mankind, knowing he did what had to be done... Beautiful remake, thumbs definitely up, congratulations to the author.
