One tidbit that came out of Walter Issacson's documentary on Jobs (great CD on tape) is that when they partnered a few years ago with Microsoft in the music space he had Gates on live via remote on the big screen above him at Macworld. Only then did he realize it was too much like this ad :)
Thank you for everything, Steve. You changed the world, made our lives better and easier. Today I am more proud to be a Mac user than ever before. Rest In Peace. iSad. . .
I came here to pay my respects to a true visionary of technology & entrepreneurship. R.I.P., Steve Jobs. Thank you for making the world a better place through technology. Rest well, Sir!
that is the huge irony. The Steve Jobs who founded Apple as an anarchic company promoting the message of freedom, whose first projects with Stephen Wozniak were pirate boxes and computers with open schematics, would be taken aback by the future that Apple is forging. Today there is no tech company that looks more like the Big Brother from Apple’s iconic 1984 commercial than Apple itself, a testament to how quickly power can corrupt.
For those of you who miss Steve....
He needed to go to Heaven. Moses needed to get his Tablets upgraded.
