  • The 125 and 150 is soo badass when you riding them

  • Setup:

Cylinder: Charmo 47mm(66cc) Lifted with 3mm spacer, Ported wider ports wtih better flow, angles, surface and durations etc.My durations: 151 transfers, 213 exaust. (ofc not for cross use ;d) 3,4mm cutted for winning back the compresion after spacer. Exaust 78% of cylinder diameter(single port)

    Cylinder head: 3,5mm cutted, 47mm, 50% squishband(0,6mm distance)

    Carbourator: 26mm flatslide.

    Exaust: Yasuni R3 Short stock

    Reedvalve: carbon flaps(0,8cm distance)

    Ignition: HPI digital

  • Nice :D

2 strokes are awesome :D I dont have any cross bike myself but i love the 2-stroke engine :P

Getting much HP in a 250 2 stroke is np, but getting godly hp on a cross rpm band is harder..

Myself i just like the porting etc, working on a old suzuki ts50x. Theese bikes got 2,5HP original, 5-7HP with tune setup(toppspeed around 90km/h). My ported one went 135km/h with a little wrong carbourator settings(to lean mix).

  • @gel87Kjetil

Now i hope for better cause have maximized the compression for 98octan fuel with octance booster. Ported better, 2mm bigger carbourator and digital ignition :D RPM kick from 8k ->16k (with old duration 140/208, stock ignition(with modified spark moment, 24mm carb)

  • does any1 else think that the 125,150,250 all sound the exact same in all of there vids?

  • sweet sound of 2 stroke

  • Sleetdawg, You were amazing at Powder Mountain with MC

  • Having ridden the old CR500s, that generation of big-bore 2 strokes were beasts, and were hard to ride not just because of the power, but because they were heavy, had primitive suspension, and drum breaks.

I've had every brand and size of bike. I just sold my 4 strokes and got a 2011 250SX, and it is amazing! Great power, but easier to ride than you would think. Better turning and handling than any 450 I've had.

  • I'd rather see the bike... one gopro vid is the same as the next.

  • You know whats funny?......He wasnt even on it on the 250R ;)

  • the 250 sx fucks the 4 stroker. Yeahh :D

  • but will it blend??

  • the 125 sx hasn't hit puberty yet x)

  • 250SX with the $600 300SX kit please. Hello 60HP in a 20+lb lighter package, see ya 4-bangers.

Keep up the good work KTM. How about a direct injection 250 soon? Or just cut the 155hp 800cc DI Rotax snowmobile twin in half. Google "Rotax etec".

  • @DonMegaphone 60hp??? wrong MXA put a 300sx kit on the 2011 ktm250sx and it only did 51hp.....Even with the 300sx kit all the new 450s do more hp.

  • @MxQuestion572 with nearly double the displacement and extra weight...

  • @MrJohndidder ....Yeah

  • @MxQuestion572 With just a Pro Circuit Works pipe and Shorty the 2012 250SX that MXA is long-terming put out 57hp on the dyno. Stock was 51hp.

57hp is more than any current 450. Porting and polishing the internals would easily put it over 60. A ported and polished 300SX would be north of 65hp, 4T works bike territory.

The problem would be putting the power down. 65hp with a 2T's power delivery would just liquify the ground in wheelspin. You'd have to have a surgeon's touch on flat corners.

  • @MxQuestion572 It's in the current print edition of MXA, it's not on the web yet. Those are Pro Circuit's claim.

A flywheel weight would calm down the delivery for you 4T riders.

  • 0 people hate 2 strokes...Oh wait...

  • check 2 stroke bikes in my channel..promiss u will like

  • The laps were:

    1min 37secs for the 125SX

    1min 36.5secs for the 250SX

Woah, gues the difference isn't really that much!!

  • @maxmc89 well that really depends on the rider and the situation weather ur racing or just testing/riding

  • @Cisco606 In both laps the rider is the same, Mike Sleeter. Obviously it comes down to 1000 things, but still the difference isn't huge or such a small gap would be impossible.

  • @maxmc89 Its not about the bike. Its about the rider my friend.

  • @christmaspoo911 @Cisco606 In both laps the rider is the same, Mike Sleeter. Obviously it comes down to 1000 things, but still the difference isn't huge or such a small gap would be impossible.

  • good line man :)

  • Awesome! twostrokemotocross com

  • BRAAAAAAAPPPPP *squeeeeek*** BRAAAAAPPPP

  • Ah yes, and angry bumble bee, the way it should be. If O'Mara's knees weren't bad he'd still be able to beat these 250 thumpers on a 2-stroke!!

  • We have 3 KTM two strokes in our Office and they kick ass for sure

  • The way God intended dirt bikes to sound! Ring-a-ding!

  • Where's the 150 sx!?

  • squeaky brakes

  • @TheKawi125rider They aren't squeaky, it's just the way Sleeter taps the brakes. I've seen it in another video where the brakes are loud, it doesn't happen to others on ktm's

  • that KTM sounds soo nice!

  • So are you racin the 250 in the nats this year?

  • Ohhh the sick sound of a 125 and 250 two stroke. Doesnt get much better than that.

  • really nice track :)

  • Braaap! That was sick!

  • AMAZING!! I LOVE IT! 2 STROKE POWER BIAAATCH!! BRAAAAAAAAAAAAPPP

  • @rafaelbarato 4 stroke mate..... way better..

  • @me4motoz279 your 4 stroke will be beat to shit in a matter of hours

  • @me4motoz279 ...--2-strokes for life....4-strokes are for lazy riders
