Everytime the game would come on as a kid, I hated/loved it. The yodeling was creepy and the mountain climber was a little weird looking as well. I am glad I too am not alone here!

Me too! I thought I was the only one in the world who was afraid of this game as a child! My mother had to run and close the television set whenever she heard it come on otherwise I'd burst out crying with fear. I dunno if it was the yodelin' or the fact that he might fall off, but there was something really creepy about this game! The sound still gives me chills!

OMFG!!! I'm so glad you guys are in the same boat with me!!! When I was like 5 or 6, I was so frightened that the climber would fall of the mountatin! I feared for his safety I guess, LOL!

JW wasn't creepy. The show was in fact pretty boring. But the mountain yolder on TPR was seductive and creepy.

If I found anything scary on this show (up until about age 9, when I believe it was retired), was Hurdles, The huge CRASH (or whatever it was) across the TV screen when the hurdler "didn't make the jump" usually startled me. But the malfulctions on that game more than made up for it with hilarity ;-)
