Never thought he was much of an actor but I liked his shows.

I guess this wasn't shown on ABC with the nudity and language, they must have given Robert a quick martial arts lesson, this production could have used Joe Don Baker.

@RudeComment Actually, Robert Conrad was a practitioner of both Shotokan Karate and Kajukenbo (under Ed Parker) and his turn on both "Hawaiian Eye" and "Wild Wild West", which pre date this movie, are considered by martial-arts film historians as very good (for their time.) So he already had martial arts experience prior to this movie.
