Hi, This is not PSP beats, PSP beats takes any mp3 you give it and essentially turns it into Beatmania without samples :S

The app on show here is Traxxpad, and it has a bloody high learning curve as I discovered early last year :P

Nah, this is a beat\song creation program, much like a drum machine in essence.

At the start you will see the flashing line of squares. That's the track in which the piano is assigned (made using another part of this program),

And then you assign whatever beats, samples or scratches you like to the x o [] and <\ buttons and can then freestyle mix the song :)

Yes, you can export it as a mp3 and Traxxpad saves it in your Music directory for you to find and play from there :)

The vocal samples are recorded using the Applications in built sampler (it's an application, not a game btw), and all other samples used are included in Traxxpad :)

Also you can use a psp headset microphone (not included) to record outside music. that and i think you can convert WMA files saved on your PSP to Traxx Pad as well.

There is a custom sound recorder built into it from which you can sample from anything on your pc etc.

You have to use the psp oem headphone thingy i believe, but unsure about this fact.

There is an instructional video on how to sample into TRaxxpad here on youtube i spied once - Search for it :)
