@aviadra, while there are measures that can be put in place to stop this kind of thing, aren't most exploits a combination of lazy IT and users lack of knowledge? If you want more on virtualization and SANs, then look into some of the other vids else where, there are plenty.

Like I don't think I know enough about computer security basics or networking or whatever to understand what a "Man-in-the-Middle Attack" is.

i love hak5 but the last 3 vids have been borong there is too much talking and not alot of how to do stuff or kl hacks. hack5 just wanting to know is it possible to make your own recovery disc without going to your local computer shop so it saves travel time

Hak5 is about whats currently going on in their lives and how they interact with tech, not just hacking, so they can talk about farts all day if they want, its their show. Now your going to call them boring then ask how to make a recovery disk? Seriously you cant make a recovery disk?

i soo agree this was boring..

mainly because "attacking" the DHCP is so obvious it isn't an attack.

and there are settings on modern network equipments to block the new dhcp from being able to serve.

come on you guys... lets get some more how-tos on real stuff like virtualization and SANs with more depth and not dwell on the can be blocked within seconds if the IT just blinks in that direction "attacks".
