They should have found a way to have Yoda beat Dooku without killing him and then have someone help Sidious in his fight with Yoda. How can you say he is so powerful and not win a single fight????

Dooku didn't defeat Yoda, he found a away to distract Yoda from their fight so he could run and survive. If he didn't do that Yoda probably would have killed him.

@rossinatl Kenobi can actually give Dooku trouble, and Kenobi WAS one of the most powerful Masters. The only betters he had were all on the Council, I believe. And pardoning Anakin's political appointment, the Council is the toughest, wisest, and most intelligent the Jedi had. Kenobi was allowed to sit in on their meetings every so often during his missions, which is pretty big if I remember correctly.

Uh, no. Sidious was just stronger in the darkside.m In the Novelzation of the movie - it expands on the emotions and other stuff that was going on during the fight itself. It stated Yoda came to the conclusion he had lost the fight even before it started, even before he was ever born. The Jedi had remained the same, where as the Sith had changed, they had become stronger, they mastered every aspect of the force, they studied the Jedi for a 1000 years.

@androkles04 If Bane had never established the Rule of Two the Sith would constantly be at war with eachother for power, which made it easier for the Jedi to destroy them time and again, but with Two they could be hiding anywhere.

Does anyone else see how this ruins the magic of Yoda? Yoda is awesome because he was powerful, even though he was this small goblin looking thing, but now the only way to keep up in a lightsaber duel is to stress his physical body by jumping around.

The blue lightsaber is the standard colour of a Jedi Guardian - who mainly focus on combat. Green was Jedi Consular's who're more diplomatic and focus on force powers but can kick ass if needed. Mace Windu's purple lightsaber doesn't mean anything , it was just a special crystal he got after doin some awesome thing earlier in life as part of his trials...
@1polymath And where have you red that? The colors of the blades has nothing to do with the wielders mind, it's simply a reflection of the focusing crystals in the lightsaber. Sith made their crystals synthetically instead of finding them in the nature, and therefore all Sith made lightsabers are red.

It's how he talks in the prequel trilogy, yeah, but it's cringeworthy. The structure of Yoda's speech in the original trilogy was based on similarity to languages reversing nouns with verbs, whereas the structure of Yoda's speech in the prequel trilogy clearly wasn't.

@rossinatl Kenobi can actually give Dooku trouble, and Kenobi WAS one of the most powerful Masters. The only betters he had were all on the Council, I believe. And pardoning Anakin's political appointment, the Council is the toughest, wisest, and most intelligent the Jedi had. Kenobi was allowed to sit in on their meetings every so often during his missions, which is pretty big if I remember correctly.

Uh, no. Sidious was just stronger in the darkside.m In the Novelzation of the movie - it expands on the emotions and other stuff that was going on during the fight itself. It stated Yoda came to the conclusion he had lost the fight even before it started, even before he was ever born. The Jedi had remained the same, where as the Sith had changed, they had become stronger, they mastered every aspect of the force, they studied the Jedi for a 1000 years.

@RHX2 oh the sith were that powerful yet all of them lost when it's all said and done .. darth maul is sliced in half by obi wan ..2 darth tyrannus/count dooku's hands are cut off and his head is severed by anakin 3 mace windu beats sidious and disfigures him .4 obi wan cuts off three of anakins limbs and leaves him for dead as he burns up 5 luke skywalker overpower darth vader cuts off his hand .vader turns back good and tosses sidious to his death down the reactor ..

Maul's own arrogance got the better of him. Sidious always intended for Dooku to be beaten so Anakin could take over him. Anakin's own arrogance got him in the state it did. As far as we know, that was always Sidious' true apperance - which he was concealing using some ancient sith magic, or via surgery perhaps. He was so strong in the darkside - it left his body in the state that it was...

@androkles04 If Bane had never established the Rule of Two the Sith would constantly be at war with eachother for power, which made it easier for the Jedi to destroy them time and again, but with Two they could be hiding anywhere.

@imtylerduh I wouldn't call it a loophole because Grievous is nothing like a Sith, and therefore doesn't pose the threat to the Sith rule as a Sith does, thus not threating The Rule of Two. Grievous was simply a general.

Master Windu fighting style is Power Reflectivity (Purple) it's a Sith specialty.
Red = Power (Dark)
Green = Agility + Balance
Purple = Reflectivity
Blue = Defense

The blue lightsaber is the standard colour of a Jedi Guardian - who mainly focus on combat. Green was Jedi Consular's who're more diplomatic and focus on force powers but can kick ass if needed. Mace Windu's purple lightsaber doesn't mean anything , it was just a special crystal he got after doin some awesome thing earlier in life as part of his trials...

@1polymath And where have you red that? The colors of the blades has nothing to do with the wielders mind, it's simply a reflection of the focusing crystals in the lightsaber. Sith made their crystals synthetically instead of finding them in the nature, and therefore all Sith made lightsabers are red.

It's how he talks in the prequel trilogy, yeah, but it's cringeworthy. The structure of Yoda's speech in the original trilogy was based on similarity to languages reversing nouns with verbs, whereas the structure of Yoda's speech in the prequel trilogy clearly wasn't.
