@AgentCarter Ever heard of Grand Texas, a traditional Cajun folk song? Give it a listen. Sound familiar? Probably because it's the same music. And then the cajun community embraced Hank Williams' version going as far as remaking it using typical cajun instruments. So it comes from a Cajun song, the Cajun people largely appreciated it (calling it a Cajun song, themselves) and they remade it countless times. No. It's not a Cajun song at all.

@YouGotDrewed they are similar, and yes jambalaya was based on it, but its not a classic cajun song. just like country songs written about mexico are not classic mexican songs

Please get a life. This is not called 'Awesome Accordian', it is an instructional video!  I, for one, appreciate that it's at the basic level. One is not born with trained musical abilities. If one wishes to learn something new, one must start at the beginning.
