I still own my Yamaha 80! Got it for my 12th birthday in 1976. Best present I ever got...my Dad was the greatest!!

i had a 78 yz80 my dad told me older yz's were better cause he had a 79 yz80f he had top rings in it every month mine was in perfect condition not one stratch till my dad let one of his dumb ass freinds strap it in and it fell over and put a huge dent in the tank

I had 79 yz 80 it was broke down all the time My 79 kx wasnt as fast but had more torque and was very reliable

lol i had the same bike when i was 4 and the rode a wheelie through my fence the first day i had it

A 1975 YZ80 was my first bike. Bought it for $250, sold it for $250. (In the early 90's.)
