  • As a new knitter, I thought the Russian Join was good, but THIS method is absolutely BRILLIANT!!! Thank you for posting this very easy to see and understand video - you have become my "new best friend"!!!!

  • I have used the russian join but am only able to do it with bulky yarn.. This is so so much easier.. Thank you.

  • Very Interesting!!!

  • That is Fantastic!!! I'm going to do this from now on!

  • OMG! Thank you so much for sharing!!! =)

  • Thanks for the video ! It looks easy... I am bad at joining yarns for knitting, is this method good for joining another yarn during color-changing? For crochet I am okay because I can just knot it and crochet along and hide them along the following stitches.

  • This is great. Wish I had know about this when I was working on a reversible infinity cowl in a bulky yarn. Really struggled to hide the ends.

  • Thank you so much..huggg

  • I just used this method to join 2 ends of a very bulky yarn and it worked wonderfully...I've knitted 2 rows beyond the join and I cannot find it!

Thank you so much for this tutorial :-)

  • Wow, thank you so much for doing this tutorial! Your tutorials a very clearly explained and demonstrated. I've tried the weave in method but always made a mistake somewhere and then I've tried tying a knot and leaving the ends to weave in later, but it would ALWAYS show. Now, I know exactly what to do thanks to you. :)

  • Oh, that's brilliant. Never seen that before. Thanks!

  • Wonderful! I've used this knotting technique a lot in making jewelry, but it never occurred to me to use it in knitting! Can't wait to try it out!

  • I just tried this method and it worked perfectly. Thank you!

  • Fantastic! I can't wait to try it.

  • Thank you for answering my question and that is awesome cause I hate weaving in the ends too.

Thank you for sharing this tip with all of us!

  • This is great. I will certainly have to give this a try. I hate weaving in the ends.

  • Do you think you could also do this for crochet as well?

  • @moonchild88888 Yes, definitely!

  • @moonchild88888 You can use this method any time you need to join yarn, knitting or crochet.

  • Awesome video - thank you so much!
