As a new knitter, I thought the Russian Join was good, but THIS method is absolutely BRILLIANT!!! Thank you for posting this very easy to see and understand video - you have become my "new best friend"!!!!
Thanks for the video ! It looks easy... I am bad at joining yarns for knitting, is this method good for joining another yarn during color-changing? For crochet I am okay because I can just knot it and crochet along and hide them along the following stitches.
Wow, thank you so much for doing this tutorial! Your tutorials a very clearly explained and demonstrated. I've tried the weave in method but always made a mistake somewhere and then I've tried tying a knot and leaving the ends to weave in later, but it would ALWAYS show. Now, I know exactly what to do thanks to you. :)

This is great. Wish I had know about this when I was working on a reversible infinity cowl in a bulky yarn. Really struggled to hide the ends.

This is very interesting, thank you! I would love to see how it might work with changing colors as well.

I just used this method to join 2 ends of a very bulky yarn and it worked wonderfully...I've knitted 2 rows beyond the join and I cannot find it!
Thank you so much for this tutorial :-)

Wonderful! I've used this knotting technique a lot in making jewelry, but it never occurred to me to use it in knitting! Can't wait to try it out!
