Without us the wonders of the planet, the solar systems and the universe go noticed, all the things we find amazing and awe inspiring wouldn't be unless we were there to observe it. And it is for that reason that humans are beautiful and wonderful, we give meaning to the universe, not the other way around. Now some people are selfish and let there ugly side show but dont group us with those people.

@OrangeMonkeyProD That's a very interesting idea. But that's not a reason 2 say that humans r beautiful or wonderful. If we r beautiful because we observe our surroundings then every1's beautiful. Also you can't give meaning 2 something, nothing really has meaning. All u are doing is perceiving reason or meaning, when it may not even exist, just like when someone attributes karma 2 a completely random event. Without humans there might be such a thing as beauty, if animals could/can perceive it?

Additionally, the world can be beautiful, as it can be ugly too. Mattehfication was also referring to the fact that nature is awe inspiring, whereas you are focusing on a completely different scenario. They were not being unrealistic.
