Just last night i was coming back from the country in Jamaica and my God, i felt the spirit of Jesus with me and in me just listening and singing along
This is another "Deniece Williams" favorite of mine! I like both renditions of her with Philip Bailey and also later with Sandi Patty (which I think the Deniece/Sandi version won a Grammy Award).
though i am definitively NOT into gospel (as i do not believe in god and think religion is something unbecoming to most people), deniece williams always gets me with this one ....and her "god is amazing" from the "songbird"-album...

@aliquippawill If You think that this version of Niecy singing They Say was good, You should hear her remake of this song with Sandi Patti. That was the first time I've heard of this song...was with Deniece & Sandi and they tore that song up. Now don't get me wrong, this song is hot...But Sandi and Niecy went off on that version.
Deniece Williams & Phillip Bailey........for those of you who are fortunate enough to be of age; you realize & fully understand that Duets (and music in general), simply doesn't get any better than this. Deniece & Phillip are 2 of the most OUTSTANDING vocalists of any generation........of any musical genre. Great music is an absolute blessing!

THIS was my song! I remember this song on a Blue Cassette Tape! Dang I would love this on Vinyl! This would sound soooo good on my record player -- like old times. lol Am I really this old so soon?

@osajojo yes I love this mellow heavenly sound. I always wanted to hear her gospel greats so someone sent me a clip on it. She's awesome. I wish I knew when the Dove awards was because I heard she had won so many. She just has that heavenly spirit.
A cross over pioneeer song. I had just gotten saved. I couldn't beleive it when I heard it on a cecular radio station!
