Bitch , no they don't always catch you, and when they do it's often with the bad guy being pushed to limits that they cant control, and then they end up hitting and or killing innocent citizens. Does the government care, no they don't so they just keep endangering the life's of those they are sworn to protect? So often these chases are pointless. And cops are often just as reckless as the crooks.

Yah, police here are trained to end pursuits that way. We have one of the highest rates of bank robberies here in Portland in the nation. Hell, one of the cab drivers with the company I worked for unknowingly picked up the robber and was soon pulled over with the guy. That wasnt even on the news. Police here say it happens almost daily. Would you have rather had the robber think they can get away and crash at full speed killing someone or do it again?
