  • Beautiful! Congrats.

  • good fun

  • 3 people were not able to built this in there garage

  • How much money would that cost?

  • @TheChickeneer My dad had that thing 2 years ago and I think it's more than 800 $ and if you wanna with motor it's more than 1500 $ depends what motor is used and if you wanna trailer with plane or not...it's not so cheap.

  • Мне бы тоже полетать...

  • you can land on the roof of your home!! (stol)

  • 3 people didnt like this video.. they were probably expecting to see Airbus A380 and were deeply disappointed when they saw this...

  • You have built beautiful glider! Congratulations!

  • You need very special conditions to fly it... right? very nice

  • @betoosorio It's probably best used by a hilly coast like this or in the mountains to take advantage of ridge lift.

  • which one is the best glider?

  • so nice

  • very very nice

  • I LOVE It. Btw u need to wear at least round parachute just for case XD. great great job

  • put a 100cc 2 stroke engine on that mf

  • haha nice! shortest takeoff ever.

  • Man, that is nice!!!!!!!!!

  • im so happy to see the perfect hang glider

  • Couldn't be much perfect as it was! Loved the footage with the flying glider and the bird next to it.

  • Cool plane! well done!

  • Looks good!!..reminds me of a similar design back in the 80's I think...Laurie

  • this is only to lifyt or is avaliable to fly in thermous ?

  • buenisimo quiero uno asi planeador

  • What is the behavior of this gliders in strong wind conditions?

  • also known for over 70 years as primary gilders many have been bult from plans & kits dating as far back as the 30's....

  • mr. torrey is buried in Long HIll Township.

  • ...presumably the pilot controls pitch/roll/yaw via moveable control

    surfaces like a conventional airplane.

  • how do you conntrol direction/height etc once in the air? thanx

  • if you put pedals on it connected to the wheel, woud it be possible to launch from a level spot?

  • That looks nice.

  • what's the wingspan?

  • I've been searching everywhere for plans for this thing. Can anybody link me to instructions for GOAT?

  • The plan of this glider had to be available to all, just so everyone could fly with his own glider, glider excellent, the best of all!

  • I'm building one!! BUT instead of taking off from a chair, im putting my bycycle so i can cycle down the hill to take off and labd better :)

  • Very good idea, but have you increased the wing area or something because after you take off your bicycle becomes dead weight?

    Also building Goat

  • i thought about that and think im gonna use bigger wings. my uncle has a boat so i was thinking of putting floats on it so maybe i can be towed from the sea...what do you think?

  • NO COMMENT. IT'S THE BEST

  • omg awsome i want one.i was wondering where you can get the parts to make in the uk.thanks

  • It' s made from scratch.

  • WoW!, this still inspire me, thanks to Mike and Floyd I discover FreeFlight and its my passion now; I still have some parts of my GOAT project stored in the backyard but since it was taking time to Built and was eager to Fly, I choose a shortcut and bought a paraglider 3 years ago; Now I look back at this Brave Pilots: Flying in a home made machine, Good Flights Fellows! and will be gratefull for life for introducing me in the sport... Kliber.

  • I was just wondering if anyone in the UK has, or is in the process of building one of these? I am looking for a supplier of aluminium tubing in the UK and cant find anywhere that stocks the correct sizes at a reasonable price! If anyone knows anywhere send me a message or post a comment here! Cheers!

  • that was sweet , wat kinda price u pay for the building supplys ?

  • They're free, go to:

    homeDOTattDOTnet/~m--sandlin/bugDOThtm

  • the plans that is, not the supplies lol

  • "How much runway do you need for a launch?" ... "About two feet"

  • sweeeeeet!

  • Absoluteley amazing control

  • that looks fun!

    who manufactures these?

    and what is it called?

  • The "Goat" is a non-commercial project, and the designer has put the plans freely available on the net. Type in the google: basic ultralight glider.

    I am building one myself!

  • looks like a lot of thermals, happy gliding!
