  • verry nice

  • Playing Hard Rock basslines with a Fender Precision Bass, i'm the only one that finds that ironic?

  • τα σπάει το μπαγλαμαδάκι τσσσ

  • Arguably the best player on the planet, or any other!

  • hey Joe Satriani, you have inspired me to start playing guitar

  • who is that trash metal bassist playing with Satriani? Awesome! =]

  • @drakkula77 That's Allen Whitman, bassist for a surf rock band called The Mermen. At first I was bummed that Dave LaRue wasn't on this tour, then I saw this video, and figured I could handle that. :)

  • very good performance Joe. it's a pleasure to see you back at Marshall amp.But see the bassplayer playing with a pick is HORRIBLE.HIS NOTES ARE NOTHING GROOVY. STU HAMM OR DAVE LARUE ARE MUCH BETTER; THEY PLAY WITH FINGER AND SOUND BETTER. I dislike this bassplayer.sorry,it's my opinion!!

  • COOL...!!!!

  • Good to hear Joe with a backing key player. Adds a nice sonic element. Plus, this guy tears it up in "Wind In the Trees".

  • @landonech Mike Keneally is the MAN.

  • I miss the JSX's. Much better tone, clarity, and sustain in my opinion. With the peavey amps, he could play a stock signature head and be completely happy. But with Marshall he has to take a stock amp and have someone mod it to make it sound acceptable. Bring back the JSX Joe!

  • @landonech -Satriani hasn t played a stock amp in 200 years!!

  • spectacular! (as always)

  • süper calıyor orospu cocugu

  • Satrini: Now with hipster glasses :)

  • Não tem como não bater cabeça..WwwwoooooooooowwwwWWWWW

  • What cinemas support Dolby 7.1 surround sound? Wasn't aware of that configuration.

SDDS is the only 8-channel cinema technology.

    7.1 on Blu-ray? Yes.

  • That man has a gift from the gods.

    Quite special.

  • i:

    -heard chickenfoot,

-thought wow what a good guitarist,

    -looked at his solo carrier

-spent all the money i made last year on his guitar. end of story

  • DAT BASS !!!!! :O

  • \\\ MUSIC is a PARACHUTE for The SOUL ///

  • yes

  • 8 peolpe are jelous because they cant play like that

  • wtf??? This is un human!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • isn t it Awesome to see Joe playing real amps again n shelving that peavey crap!!

    Joe & Marshall perfect recipe!!!

  • @divgtrslingr i also didnt like those peavey amps.. marshall ftw!

  • @divgtrslingr Fuck that man, Marshall is overrated. The JSX's were a perfect match for Joe, great tone and sustain.

  • @landonech Marshall over rated??? LMAO ,, Dude that says it all

  • Total mastery of the fretboard. Tone. Melody. Speed. Feedback control! He's got it all. Been a fan since Surfin'.

  • Best looking video on youtube by far, gonna look incredible on blu ray!

  • Even at 56 yrs old, Joe is articulate and shredtastic as ever. The artists now would love to have a drop of his talent and relevancy today. Long live Joe!! Keep giving us new stuff, we love it!!

  • Joe is the beast of beasts. Long live Joe!

  • @peakspeakerrepair Joe is always in beast mode!!

  • Allah will prevent or fail that war :D

  • wah wah!

  • Brilliant !

  • The Best!!!

  • loving the marshalls!

  • War, baby, War! This is the MAN!

  • Bad ass!

  • amazing

  • wow..

  • Whats Insane is that people don't take care of there temple.... aka themselves.

  • He takes care of his body. He just recently started eating meat. He had been on a raw food diet me thinks for a while. Or something of that nature.... My Mother is 50+ and she looks 30 also. But then again.... She takes care of herself lol

  • Great very mach!

  • Not much for comparing one musician/guitarist to another

Simply stated ...Joe Satriani is 1 of the All-Time Best!!!

  • He's got bigger floor than my bathroom o.O

  • brillante peladoo

  • THAT beginning riff

  • I really enjoyed this ..I watched it in 1080p but it took 1 hour and 47 seconds to buffer it all the way across. Great Job Youtube !!!

  • Great performance by the hole Band!

  • Simply Awesome.!

  • It is in the jeans that keeps the guitarist looking young even if they are over 80 yrs. old.,,lol :-)

  • Spectacular playing man.. Sac is at the top of his game... knock on wood...

  • yea baby!!!!!!!!!!! is it coming 2 cinema's in australia ??? i hope so. i'd b gold class all the way if so :0

  • omg

  • What a feel!!

Right mixture of feel , melody , speed and technique.

Joe, thanks for the amazing music.

  • he kind of looks like valdemort >:

  • @AyaseYuuto I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks so, hahaha. Awesome guitarist, though.

  • Seem him the concert before this one in toronto in december, absolutely Incredible. The crowd was great and Joe showed why he is one of the best guitarists to ever live.

  • Cant wait for this but Joe's tone is sounding thin.

  • @jimllfaxit .............I AGREE.........?

  • 1:59 - Start headbanging \m/

  • Mike Keneally on keys!

  • Must buy this... got to buy this... or I may die...

  • I think I prefer the peavey era sound!!! This JVM isn't cutting it very well. Could be the recording but chickenfoot sounds are also like this, but satch is always satch in his playing!

  • @81giorikas He used Marshall from 1987 until 2001, and he used them to create all his masterpieces, including The Extremist, Crystal Planet. In my opinion his earlier tone with the Marshall is far superior to his Peavey tone. I didn't like his Peavey tone one bit. It sounded fizzy, inarticulate and it didn't compliment his playing very well.

  • some parts sounds like ''Masque of the Red Death - Crimson Glory''

  • TONE !!!!!!!!

  • This song is cool, but why do they keep cutting away from a close shot of Joe to these dumb wide shots! Very distracting. I wanna watch Joe play more!!

  • I think the weird guy is a cable puller for the camera crane.

  • At 2.0 this songs kicks ass, maybe this album will finally stop me listening to live in San Fran.

  • that was dope!

  • stop deleting my post ,,, i love joe satch period.....

  • he should do some more solos..

  • This is one of the baddest muthas walking the earth wit a 6 string!!!

  • @divgtrslingr not one of the baddest - THE BADDEST

  • This is the most epic thing I've ever heard, jaysus!!

  • sounds like a mix of where ever i may roam + just a bullet away + other influences... but this... THIS IS BETTER THAN ALL THAT COMBINED WTF!!!

  • I love you >JOE

    Greetings from Italy (Rome) !!!

  • I can't wait to watch it at home!!!

  • Oh My Fucking Doooog!! 6 people dislike this, it's so funny...What do u like then??

  • Огонь!!!)

  • 7 dislikes?

Come on,there must be more retarded people out there...

  • if the counter added 1 view for everytime i restarted this video, it would have ten more everyday

  • turning me towards the light!

  • WOW!!!! AMAZING.

  • Incredible performance ! His sound is 10 times better with the Marshall JVM !

  • EXCELENTE POR DONDE LO MIRE Y ESCUCHE !!!!!!!

  • I get an incredible souls joe :)

  • holy shit..his best work. i'm takin the kids. the good ears love his big music. one step ahead as always joe. band is super tight. campo and joe are a force. way to stick with your drummer buddy. from drum samples to this...incredible.

  • Is it me or this video definitely needs more views?

    Awesome Song Mr. Satriani

  • This is one of his best performances....what a Guitar GOD.

  • That guy is over 50 years. he sure doesnt look a day over 30.. its insane.

  • @Joachim10

Having no hair will do that

  • @Joachim10 from what i've seen from his behind the scenes photo shoots, he has stylists to help him achieve his look. he's one of those guys (admittedly, a little like me)

who gets a good look because it helps his business out. makes things more cheery during concerts.

and let's face it, a cleaned up look can benefit ones personal life too, eh?

I'm not trying to bash Joe for this- I respect him more for it. if i were him at HIS age, after having lost MY mother....

    Dear God....

  • @Joachim10 No grey hair (n hair at all) and you can't see his eyes.

  • @Joachim10 maybe its the shades lol

  • @Joachim10 what satch is over 50?!? he really looks younger than me and I'm 33!

And yes, he makes the best rock/ fusion instrumental music i've ever heard! cant wait for the album, my friends!

  • @BeatBay Yes.. he is over 50.. its.. i dont even know anymore

  • Bald guitar player who doesn't age.... Aliens

  • No Stu ? :( Can anyone tell me why Joe's fans don't like Stu? He's a talented bass player but I have some DVD's of Joe (Many) and Stu get's booed??? Joe even comments something about "They Stu him, because they love him" but seriously what's the story? Anyone........

  • @Inferent The fan's don't like Stu? on the contrary, they love him ''they Stu him 'cos they love him'' as Joe said. It sounds like they are booing him, but in fact they are shouting ''STUUU''. Hope that has cleared it up.

  • Unreal as usual...Satch YOU DA MAN!!!

  • 2:45 gives me goosebumps every time. Such a vicious riff.

  • Oh my.. Oh my.. Keneally and Satriani man. Sounds like a match made in heaven. I never heard such a good intergration of guitar and keyboards before. This is just beautiful man.

  • OMG I'm Satchurated!!!

  • The best musician, and person. Satriani is amazing.

  • Hope this doesn't contain all those cheesy effects from the last Satriani DVD.

  • SIMPLESMENTE GENIAL!

  • Looks cool but still, if you're gonna record a Satch performance... FOCUS ON THE HANDS. It's where the magic happens.

  • I NEED TO SEE THIS FILM! joe is my favourite guitarist, and my main influence toward soloing.

  • What's the matter with mobile phone? Why can't I see your videos?

  • APOCALYPTIC!!!!

  • WOW!!

  • I need that DVD right now!

  • 4 must die !!!!!

  • @10101010101010101767 Line them up them in front of Satchs marshalls and put all dials to 11+!!!!!

  • the guy at 3:12 has a video camera in his hands and hes filming the others.

  • @websatch please fix playback with iPads this is getting old

  • Saw Satch in 1989 at the Cotati Cabaret in Cotati, California. He just gets better and better.

  • The wierd guy, not even facing the stage at 3:12 - WTF?!

  • @guitardavept Yeah - what's up with that? Strange!

  • @rjake007 ''Strange'' if you happen to be fan, however there is nothing strange about a member of the camera crew facing away from the stage. You can clearly see he is holding a pro camera.

  • @guitardavept

wierd guy was skeered of the beast playing the guitar

  • @guitardavept I attended Joes show at the strathmore in DC. I have been a satch fan since day 1 and let me tell you I was bored out of my mind. As was most everybody else. We had a birds eye view of the audience looking down on everybody. All floor seat were full. After about 5 songs peeps started to leave and cell phones started coming out. about 3/4 into the set the peeps in the front row were all looking at their cells.. Joe was boring live it was really disappointing. but hey oh well.

  • 2:30... the fuck yeah moment

  • For the love of Thor please let Satch come to Sheffield while I'm here.

  • very good!!

  • fab keyz :)

  • Joe, Now this is what we call - A kickass video !

Stick to this, we all love to see your fingers at work.

  • @burnedeoutgolfer: thanks for pointing it out.

  • Is "JOE DIRT" replacing Stu????

  • Comment removed

  • ESPECTACULAR!!!!!

  • ...ótimooooooo!!!!

  • I am the only one, who doesn't hear the rhythm-guitar? Again...

  • 3:10 someone should tell this man in the audience, dude..satriani is behind you..

  • @juliancro Looks like he's part of the filming crew dude.

  • Does anyone notice a slight similiarity to John Petrucci's Jaws of life? Not much just a tiny shred.

  • @shamunrocks

Yep. This came out a couple years before Petrucci though

  • @shamunrocks i was just wondering why it sounds so familiar to me.

  • Amazing performance!

  • JOE YOU FUCKING TRAITOR WHERES STU HAMM?????!!!!!!!!

  • thanks for postin my favorite song haha

  • great master¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ great performance and sound¡¡¡¡¡

  • I have only been playing guitar for around 4 years, but Joe Satriani has to be my main influence to play guitar. I have never witnessed a more mindblowing performance than any Satch song. It's not just the tone, or the guitar, or the faces.. It's the excellent songwriting this guy does, it is the coolest thing in the world to be able to make simple stuff sound so awesome. Joe Satriani is my biggest influence!!
