  • isant that only a half truth? if you rotate the copper or aluminium, does not there properties change.

  • @lykenth08, Well lykenth, if you rotate the copper or aluminum, it will have a drag from the magnetic flux, but that isn't what I'm showing here. So it is the whole truth & nothing but the truth.....

    Donovan.

  • Ever try bismuth for a shield?

  • @stevensrd1, No I haven't. I understand it to be the only metal with a slight amount of repulsion to a magnetic field. Have you heard this? It would be interesting to know how it would behave as a magnetic shield.

    Donovan.

  • @MagnetOnlyMotors Well just saying,,perhaps the key in in that, or with the proper mix of another metal, making an alloy, for making a better shield.

  • @stevensrd1 Good thinking!! I wonder if the people that make mumetal do this. What I found is that the mild steel gives the magnetic flux a path to travel on, rather than actually repel it away, if that is possible, without an external electric influence. That, does work. Keep on thinking good stuff, Bud.

    Donovan.

  • @MagnetOnlyMotors if your interested I have some videos under this name,,one is powering a motor with sand and water,,and a few others..

  • @stevensrd1 Sure please send to my personal...

    Donovan.

  • I thought the person whose video you are trying to disprove CLEARLY stated he used a type of SOFT IRON, not copper or aluminum....

Why can't you people actually follow the same experiment?

Instead you get this nonsense that has nothing to do with the video its in response to....

    You Fail at experiment replication....

  • @forgetfuldays, Hey Forget, I'm not trying to disprove any one's video. Why can't you follow the individual videos for what they are. I didn't fail at any experiment replication, it shows that copper and aluminum don't work as a magnetic shield.

    Maybe you can understand that.

    Donovan.

  • you can sheild magnetic field with the inside from your aa bateries and thin tin sheets, threse a guy on youtube showing this done

  • @moss1transcendant, Hey Moss, that would be a lot of work to separate batteries & all the gunk from them.

I'm happy with my stuff. Thanks.

    Donovan.

  • your fingernails are clean.

  • @kFward O.K.

  • I have a working, on the ground, 6 phase ferrite free hub motor

that can power a bicycle for up to 100 miles on a single charge of a group 31 12 volt batt. It works and it involves a very out of the box use of magnets...

you are playing with stuff that was looked at and discarded 100 years ago...

evolution is an interesting thing..some people do and some people don't.

  • @goose2goose2 Battery technology is well over a hundred years old too. Are you using some else's ideas or any of your own?

    Donovan.

  • @goose2goose2 How many AH is the battery and then I want you to show some proof of that statement. Is this unassisted running, (no pedaling?). It takes about 300-600watts to move a bicycle. A 12AH battery gets you about 8-10 miles. Now a group 31 weighs about 72lbs & is 90-100ah. With the added weight you would have to discharge the battery beyond its limit to even come close to 100miles. No wind or hills either. I think your estimation is a bit high. Did you Actually Ride this 100miles?

  • This is a joke...you know nothing about shielding..

but you could hook up with the dozens of hucksters before you

that have tried in vain to convince the world you have made

    a breakthrought..what a crock!

Here's a tip..try just reading, there is lots on the subject of magnetic shielding..

and one last thing..lookup Mu metal..it has some real possibility..

alum and copper..does the word dialectric mean anything at all to you?

study then publish, not the reverse

  • @goose2goose2 You seem to be a rather hostile youtuber, what are you so wound up at me about?

    Donovan.

  • @goose2goose2 Also, there are young minds out there that are learning about things are new to them. I suppose you would deny them information because you decided it was old stuff. Young people see things with a fresh point of view. Try not to be so stiffling.

    Donovan.

  • @goose2goose2, you failed.

    Donovan.

  • These experiments were done in the 1800s

  • @Texmurphy51, I wasn't around then, nor did I see any videos from the 1800's, so I did it in the 2000's. Donovan.

  • @MagnetOnlyMotors There are things called "Books" that contain information about the past. Not everything important is on a Video. Perhaps if you read a little you will not have to repeat history to come to a conclusion.

  • @Texmurphy51, I do have some books.Granted, there is a lot of unimportant stuff on video. But, a visual display is more obvious to accept than a simple explanation, yes? Donovan.

  • @MagnetOnlyMotors I refer to your statment that you werent around in 1800 to know of the experiment. If you want to bake a cake do you just start throwing ingredients together & experiment or do you use a recipe from the past. Progress relies on using the experience of the past and building on it.

  • @Texmurphy51, C'mon Texmurphy51. You know, if I baked a cake, any consumers would probably be hospitalized. These videos aren't so much for me, but for any one that has an interest in learning about such things. Would you find it more fun to watch rather than read & try to imagine the results? Donovan.

  • @MagnetOnlyMotors Maybe I am looking at this wrong. If your only demonstrating the fact that a magentetic field penetrates these metals is fine. Your statement that they are not shields is correct but there is no magnetic "shield" A magnetic field can be conducted around an object but not shielded. I am mistaking your video for others that make the claim they have discovered a magnetic & possibly gravitational shield. SORRY

  • @Texmurphy51, That is true, I don't think there is an actual gravity shield, otherwise it would have flown away already. It's been a slice. Take care. Donovan.

  • @Texmurphy51

Not too long ago in the past, people thought the world was flat. They had thought it was flat for a very long time. If people disregarded any new speculation pertaining to old "fact", we would probably still be afraid that the Strait of Gibraltar marked the end of the world. Sometimes revisiting things and looking for a better way is indeed a better way.

  • @liveonthereartire That is a total misconception that people during the days of Columbus thought the world was Flat. The earth was proven round in 3rd century & most learned people,(those smart enough to sail & make maps) knew the earth was round.

I am not saying dont do research but putting a tin foil hat on your head & swinging chick guts over your head will not create a free energy device. Lets not repeat experiments that have been proven wrong many times in the past.

    Dont beat dead horse

  • @Texmurphy51

Just because people have been digging holes with shovels for thousands of years doesn't mean that a shovel is the best method. You are not wasting your time. Why be upset at people, in your opinion, wasting theirs? Science Daily (04, Sept 2009) They have found that monopole magnets exist as states of matter. This is going to rewrite everything you learned in elementary. No matter how badly you don't want to beat a dead horse... people are swinging a hammer with success.

  • @liveonthereartire Discovery of a magnetic monopole has nothing to do with this video. It does not violate the conservation of energy. The people who are wasting their time can continue. I am warning others who get sucked in. Most of these sites are trying to sell "kits" of their experiments to unsuspecting people who think that they can get Free Power if they assembly this Experimental Kit.

I have watched these con men for years. They sell snake oil to unsuspecting people who need warned away

  • @Texmurphy51

I absolutely agree that many of these people are simply misleading for financial gain. However, I am still completely cemented into the fact that just because something has been done before does not mean the same results will be attained forever. You may say the sun will come up every day, and you would be correct, right up until it ends in a super nova. Science has a firm grasp on many things, but it is constantly re-evaluated for its correctness. There are no constants.

  • @liveonthereartire By no constants you mean nothing is impossible?

If nothing is impossible then is it possible to come up with a theory that is Impossible?

If you say No, I say nothing is impossible.

If you say Yes then there are theories that are impossible.

Either way there are theories that are impossible.

Science does constantly look at the past and rightly so but we do not run idiotic tests. Do you keep hitting your thumb with a hammer to see if one day it does no damage?

  • @Texmurphy51

No where did I say "nothing is impossible". However, to use your thumb and hammer analogy, there are Shaolin monks which punch brick walls for hours at a time. This eventually becomes pain-free and strengthens the monk, much like hitting yourself with a hammer repeatedly. Rules exist. Some you cannot get around, some you can bend and some are wrong. Let us consider the many times in Science that we "knew" something only to have it turned on its head and be dead wrong later on.

  • @liveonthereartire Sure science has been shown wrong, that is the nature of science to do that. Science means, search for the truth by systematic study. The Monk analogy works, they learn after many experiments the extent of how hard & long they can punch. If one Monk says he wants to punch through the wall without touching it is like searching for Zero Point or Free Energy. Some will try it, all will fail. Just dont try to FAKE IT. Thats why I am talking about. This is whats on Youtube.

  • @Texmurphy51

Ya know, I honestly understand what you're saying. However, unless you continue to try different ways to achieve the same goal, you will never know if it could be done a different way. I will also agree with you again on the fact in which many people try to use these videos for financial gain by putting forth fictitious results. How many people would have thought you could burn water as fuel. Now we have a guy that has come up with such a way to do so. I won't say its feasable..

  • @liveonthereartire

...as a means of power or unlimited energy. I can only guess that it takes more energy to make the water burn than it creates, but that is just right now. Perhaps in a few years they will have the technology to reduce the cost of the energy input to output ratio. There are many things that are possible despite the fact that people have said they cannot be done for centuries. (Stupid Character Limit!!)

  • @liveonthereartire You cant "burn" water as fuel. You have to seperate it into H2 & O2. That takes energy, when you burn it you get that back, minus waste of inefficiency. Lavoisier did electrolysis in 1743, so this is nothing new. Thousands have experimented on this & never saw an energy gain. Now some guy in a garage says he has found a way to get more energy? No impossible but very very very very unlikely. Name one "non scientist" Garage Experiment that has overturned Science.

  • @Texmurphy51

There is a major gap between electrolysis and what I am speaking of. Yes there are some of the same principles involved (i am guessing) but it is accomplished a completely different way.

    youtube(.)com/watch?v=

    aGg0ATfoBgo

I am not sure what you mean by "non scientist". That is a very broad statement and really depends on what one's view of a scientist actually is. In my opinion, a scientist is somebody who has researched and experimented while documenting results.

  • @liveonthereartire The guy was a Amateur Radio operator, as am I. He was looking for a cancer cure on 20Meters. The thing is .. It requires More RF energy to split the water than is gathered by the flame. This is NOT Free Energy. Local News screws up these stores every time. I can show you countless examples.

I said NonScientists as a comparison to who is working on these Free Energy projects. OK name ANYONE who has turned (current) Science Theory on its head from their garage. Not Edison.

  • @Texmurphy51

I understand, this is not free energy (salt water vid). However I stated that in my previous comments. The idea behind linking you the video was to show what people can find out when they are experimenting. Discouraging people from attempting things is not a way forward. It is simply a ridiculous notion to chastise a person with a will to gain more knowledge. Especially, when that knowledge could benefit humanity. Also, as its obvious your not reading my posts, this is my last.

  • try an iron sleeve, its not a shield ,but it is a nice sponge

  • @itanimulli08, Please look at some of my other videos, they do have an iron sleeve but they make a very good sponge. Donovan

  • thats why there is such thing as permalloy :)

  • zuznub, Thanks for the info, I'll check it out. Donovan.

  • jsut wanna know where to buy iron filings... do i get them by jars? and where can i get them? at hardware stores? i need one urgently..please reply ASAP. thanks :D

  • justin900. :D, If you go to any local machine shop, especially one that does metal grinding, or an automotive repair shop that resurfaces cylinder heads they will have more that enough for you & for free not doubt. Remember to take your jar. Have fun. Donovan.

  • justin900, :D, Be careful not to get the iron filings on your magnets or you will need compressed air to blow them completely clean. Chow. Donovan.

  • @MagnetOnlyMotors thanks very much dude.. really helped.

  • @justin900 O.K. Donovan.

  • Hi there do the next experiment.

Tigh a magnet with a rope from a stationary point.Set the magnet in a copper tube and push it all the way in and stretch the rope.Repeat the experiment with the iron fillings this time pulling fast the copper tube.

    /cheers mate

    P.S.:tell us what happens.

  • ciumides, I believe I know the test you mean. A; when you let a magnet free fall in a vertical copper tube it does slow it down. B: It would still disturb the iron filings, but I will see what I can do about a visual test. Thanks for the suggestion. Donovan. B;

  • i know a nice man who shown me that he in fact can sheild magnetic fields . he used the inside of alkaline batterys, the black powder from inside i think it was. i would absolutley love to have a device to make my mountain bike weightless. if you want to email him , message me back and i will give you his email. thanks. p.s keep up the good work.

  • Hi Robert, I have seen that video too. That stuff takes up too much space for what I'm doing, Thanks muchly though. Donovan,

p,s. I'll keep up the good work!!

  • i think the practical way forward with this magnetic use is in bicycles as a no pollution no cost to run affordable item which would liberate many people in many ways and promote this heavily as it isnt a uncommon thing to owna bike.

  • @moss1transcendant , bicycles would be a great place for it when that day comes. Donovan.

  • Hold Alloy beside a turning Rotor,

it creates inside the Alloy eddy current,

what slows the Rotor pretty much down.

    Copper doesnt..

But it does not shielding, thats right.

  • Jgo1704, Actually copper & aluminum does put a serious drag on a magnetic rotor as you pickup on the R.P.M. They in fact make a excellent dynamic brake at high speeds with no contact wear!! Good point. Donovan.

  • Hi,

Thank you very for taking time for demonstrating. I just wondered it may show some shielding effect as you shown in your previous video with iron sheild. This question I always had in my mind ever since I saw the video demo by one company in which they dropped a magnetic sphere in copper tube and magnet fell to bottom very very slowly. Because of that video I thought copper also may be show some sign of shielding effect on megnetic field. Anyway than you once again.

  • mailtosrini5, Your very welcome. I know the video & I have done the same thing,it's kind of spooky as it drops in slow motion when you look down the tube. The magnet is trying to set up electric currents as it passes by each spot of copper tube & this causes it to have a drag on the magnet. Donovan.
