  • He uses internet explorer... I guess i'll keep searching for more videos.

  • @MrTochigui

    Thanks for a giggle =D

  • I'm getting a 550€ System. Based on the i5 plattform.

  • @winfr34k I bet it's an Acer Aspire.

  • @YourComputerExpert No, built by myself.

  • the mobo that can use 24GB or ram is X58 not p55 the 860 is P55 and the 930,950,980X id x58

  • @iphone3gs78

I state that in the video.

  • Corsair, Enermax, Sunbeam are the only ones i'll buy as PSU.

OCZ, Antec Truepower is something I'd buy if those 3 are gone.

  • nice "editing" system you got there btw :D

  • core i7 for video editing? hehe :D

  • Dude you totally cheapassed the rest of the machine. What a POS.

  • @JamesManes

That machine has made me well over $2,000.00 in the short time I have had it not to mention My Core 2 Quad worked just fine. If you want to build a $6,000,00 system go ahead but my viewers wanted me to assemble an inexpensive i7 system.

  • @adobePC My machine was less than $1,200 after everything.

  • @thebsdguy

Mine was $825.00 and it works great. I like my Micro ATX case.

  • @adobePC try touching the chassis while the machine is on, I bet it isn't even grounded properly, LOL

  • @thebsdguy

I have several cases that are $30-$50 and they work fine you idiot. You're comment is just retarted. Do you want me to make an ownage video showing all my systems being touched? I have built well over 100 systems. Some real inexpensive ($500.00) and some well over $1,000.00. I will be building a system for a client in about two weeks for $1,800.00.

My system works just fine. Don't try to imply other wise because I do not apreciate it.

  • @adobePC ah, yes, linkworld is world-renowned for quality, and silverstone, antec and lian-li are just overpriced?

  • @adobePC Ah, I'm sure your clients would be quite happy to know that you put bargain-bin power supplies in their $1,800 workhorse machines.

I bet the power supply that came with that case doesn't even support 8-pin EPS12V, which an i7 requires. I bet you had to use the goddamn molex to PCIE adapter to power the GPU, and it probably didn't even come with SATA power.

Christ, do yourself a solid and buy a 430W Seasonic or Corsair. You'll thank me later.

  • @thebsdguy

Do us all a favor and pull your head out of you ass. Why would I thank you for giving me bad advise you shit head? The system I built for $800.00 is not the same system I would be building for the client asshole. Not to mention a 420 watt power supply will not be enough considering they are opting fro a GTX series graphics card asshole. I know how to build computers shit head. Stop trolling you are making yourself look like an asshole.

  • @adobePC Wattage isn't everything.

  • @thebsdguy

I never said it was but at 420 watts there is not enough wattage to power the graphics card the client is opting for.

  • @adobePC Cool shit. Sure, you can make a point in saying that one could get an i7 system for less than a grand, but you actually -bought- this shitpile? When for maybe $100-200 more you'd have an overall more solid, more reliable system simply by making better choices in a couple of parts? Being frugal is one thing. Compromising your build is another.

Pearls before swine, I fucking swear.

  • @thebsdguy

Do you want me to show you my old 700 MHZ Petium 3 running Windows XP?

  • @adobePC I don't care how well your Pentium 3 runs on your shitty "El Cheapo" power supplies. Yeah, make a shitty "ownage video" where you swear like a sailor and I'll return the favor quite elegantly.

You have this "oh, I'm not using a terribly powerful graphics card, so I'll just buy this shitty $5 power supply since they claim it's 500 watts anyway!!!!" idea. Guess what, those shitty power supplies you buy have NO voltage regulation and NO PFC and WILL eventually fry your shit. Enjoy!

  • @adobePC LOL!

Your power supply doesn't support EPS12V, which is required by the i7 spec. I don't give a shit if it runs, because I know it does, but please call MSI and tell them you're using that shitty power supply so they can laugh and void your fucking warranty.

So yeah, you do have a knack for choosing hilariously shitty parts and entertaining us with your "fuck you I know what I'm doing" attitude.

  • @thebsdguy

Aren't you the same asshole who stated the i7 CPUs need the 8 pin connector? If you would bother to look at the motherboards for the 1156 i7 motherboards most of them only have the 4 pin CPU connector you fucking douche bag. Please pull your head out of your ass.

  • @adobePC unless you bought a super-shitty motherboard (which you probably did, as it is, after all, your trademark) there is a little black plastic tab next to the regular P4 power header. pull it up, and voila, you have an 8-pin EPS12V connector.

What appals me is that you buy a $290 processor and power it with a bottom of the barrel PSU.

  • @thebsdguy

Dude, the 1156 i7's only use 95 watts not 130 watts. Most of the 1156 MOBOs only have the 4 pin connector. Look at the video dude and you will see the 1156 MOBO I have only has 4 pins. My system is a low voltage system.

  • @adobePC You claim to have been building systems for years, but why do you think people buy these higher-priced power supplies? It's not because they're pretty. Hopefully you'll see why when a capacitor pops and takes your i7 with it.

Most LGA 1156 boards I've seen, including my P7P55D, have the 8-pin.

  • @thebsdguy

They can use an 8 pin as can a Yorkfield Quad Core but they do not need it. If you bought a power supply with 8 pins it was a waste of money since the 1156 i7 only requires 95 watts. Why do people buy the higher end power supplies? Maybe they are just full of shit like you but I imagine some of them are like myself and Zoul and know the wattage required for their systems. Are you saying every system needs a $135.00 power supply?

  • @adobePC my power supply isn't $135. I got from it buy. com for $90 - XFX 650W, OEMed by Seasonic and it's a damn solid PSU. People buy higher-end power supplies because they don't want to see their shit go up in smoke because they used a crappy PSU.

you do realize that your power supply would probably die if you put even 350W load on it, right? go read jonnyGURU and Hardware Secrets about power supplies and you'll see why I'm right.

  • @adobePC oh and I believe Zoul bought a Corsair PSU. those aren't $30 and they don't come with $30 cases.

like me, he knows better than to trust his $1,500 (in my case $1,200) system to a shitty bottom of the barrel power supply.

  • @adobePC oh, no, Zoul got a Thermaltake Toughpower 850 watt. Also, the wattage rating for the PSU as a whole isn't important. What IS important is that each rail gets enough current to power the components. Your machine IS fine with a quality 420W PSU. It's NOT fine with a SHITTY 420W PSU like the one that came in your "BROADWAY COM CORP" case.

What makes you think I'm suggesting or even hinting at you buying an 800W power supply, moron?

  • @thebsdguy

You idiot. I do not have a GTX 480 in my system. I am very hip to each rail getting adequate power you asshole. That is why I showed the difference in power consumption between a GTX 480 and a 9400 GT. They even have low voltage versions of the 9800 GT dumbass.

  • @adobePC Do you have down's? I know you don't have a 480, moron, I'm saying that you have a shitty power supply and I'll be laughing when a capacitor in that thing pops and takes out your system. That has absolutely sweet fuck all to do with power. That has to do with the piss-poor quality of the garbage power supply you bought.

It has NOTHING TO DO WITH "ADEQUATE POWER." The problem is that your power supply is an absolute piece of shit and you're a complete fucking IDIOT for buying it.

  • @adobePC TDP != power draw. I like your videos and think you usually provide great arguments. For power supplies, running with a lower quality brand can end up wrecking your system. Whereas other components for the most part cannot damage one another, a bad power supply can destroy your motherboard, CPU, and graphics card with one fell swoop. It's just something to consider.

  • @thebsdguy No matter how much you try your fucking mac will not get you laid. It will however help you be an elitist asswipe.

  • @jujitsuJerk >implying I have a Mac

when did I say I had a fucking Mac?

  • @adobePC

Have fun with that POS machine. My laptop kicks its ass.

  • @JamesManes

    Have fun being an asshole.

  • Wow, $30 case + PSU? Cheap out much?

  • @thebsdguy

The goal was to build an inexpensive system for my viewers. The system kicks ass for video editing.

  • Great video Adobe Mac or PC I believe it comes down to personal preference. I am not one of those incoherent mac users the believe everything apple makes is the best. Best is relative to your needs I have been on both sides of the spectrum and I have had serval windows pcs's but after vista I switched over to mac. I have macbook pro alougth the hardware didn't warrant the price of the laptop honestly snow leopard is best operating system I have ever used windows xp is a close second.BobbyisGay

  • PC FTW :D

  • I would get this instead this is what I have but you might have to install an extra fan and maybe an pci slot exhaust fan but its better than what is in the video for a bit more money

  • lol, a core i7 is really handy! :D

  • The other point i don't think you mentioned about the MSI X58M board is it not only has more memory slots but also supports tri-channel memory. And the X58 chipset uses a QPI interface which has a far faster data throughput than the P55. In terms of getting the best performance for your money, it is a far better choice. But as you said the size and layout is an issue, im sure you could have found a better micro-atx case that would have solved the issue.

  • @arthmus01

Dude, my video can only be 10 minutes in length. I am aware of QPI and the triple channel RAM although it does not seem to be a bottle neck. The 4X PCI Express does seem to be a bottle neck for highend gamers. While running CrossFire at 16X and 4X does offer an improvement over a single 16X PCI Express card the 1366 dual 16X PCI Express does edge out the 1156 counter part. The 1366 MOBO will work in just about any Micro ATX case that only has two expansion bays but I need three.

  • @adobePC

"Let me see your Mac Mini edit 7 layers of native HDV or even one layer off AVCHD asshole."

    :-)))))

Thanks for showing your true nooby colors, since only a NOOB home-user would actually edit EITHER (or ANY long GOP format!) codec natively (as if I couldn't if I was dumb enough to want to?? lol!)! Anyone with a clue transcodes to an I-frame only codec such as ProRes 422 and... oh gee, wait... you CAN'T transcode to ProRes, huh??

Ooops... never mind. Nuff said. :-)))))))

  • @lin2log

There is no need for me to transcoding you idiot. I can do color corection just fine with native HDV. Most PC software programs can you idiot. Also when you transcode it is like skipping a generation. Going form VHS to BETA does not make the original VHS tape equal to Beta asshole. Your transcoding is a waste.

  • @adobePC "for me to transcoding" LOL... great english skills there!

And you want to do "color corection" [SIC!] on a clip with 4:2:0??! LOL! Enjoy! Like I said... noob hobbyist! I'll be over here doing REAL NON-NOOB CC on my 4:2:2 10-bit clips, thanks!!

"Generations"??! :-D Oh yeah, you sure know what you're talking about!

    PWND... but hey, keep digging!!

  • @lin2log

It is a typo asshole. I want to see your system mother fucker and I want to se it now or get the fuck off my channel.

Yea asshole going from tape to tape is called skipping a generation. You did not know that? Do you know what a TBC is or CCU? Do you know what gen-lock is or what a camplex system is asshole?

  • @adobePC

Wow... "mother fucker"... "asshole"... you are MIGHTY mature, aren't you. Thanks for showing your TRUE colors! Nothing more can be expected of some Wal-Mart PC buyin' poser...

So you edit HDV (and AVCHD for that matter) ON TAPE, eh?? LOOOL! Okay. Do explain! Oh, and because you know the acronym for Timebase Corrector you're some sort of PRO?? LOOL... dream on, red-neck. Sorry, I thought we were talking DIGITAL here. Wanna see my system? ww w . apple . com, moron!

    Pathetic.

  • @lin2log

A stock Mac Pro is not A highned video editing system jackass. Infact it has piss poor specs and a Mac Mini is even worse. Show me your highend system douche bag or shut the fuck up.

  • @adobePC

"A stock Mac Pro is not A highned [SIC!] video editing system"

LOL!! Nooooooo, of COURSE not! Not like YOUR steaming Costco no name turd, right?! Wow, you really got me there! I'll be sure to trade in my OCTO the next chance I get!!

Nice try. Embarrassingly pathetic straw grasping, but hey... no surprise. As soon as I call you on your complete ignorance on the subject, can deliver any and everything you consider "PRO" (lol!) video features on even a CHEAPER system... ouch. Dream on.

  • "douche bag"... ah yes, I remember that one from THIRD GRADE... or was it second?

Yeah yeah, yada yada yada... let me guess, shall we go the "overpriced" route now (which would of course be cute, since Apple has VASTLY surpassed every competitor in terms of market-value... even M$!! LOL!)? The "fanboy" route? Take your pick of stereotypical escapist blather... been there, done that.

But my guess is we'll stick with the kiddy "asshole mother fucker douche" route, for lack of any REAL arguments.

  • @lin2log and @adobePC

this old fuktard (this is what he called himself) was SERIOUSLY OWNEEDD by me and some other kids last night. He said he had PERFECT ENGLISH SKILLS and would teach his kids:

Three little pigs buildS a hut and they liveS there.

    ********OWNED, OWNED, OWNED*******

NEVER KICK A MORON WHEN HE'S DOWN! Poor thing... digging and digging and digging and digging and digging...

  • @twotwoking

I can see lin2log is a complete douche bag and troll.

  • Oh hey!! It's my personal stalker TWAT-WALKING aka EDUARDO YEE-HAAW!! Isn't he cute??! Yeah, pretty fuckin' STUPID tho (see here: /watch?v=uDIdHnro0HQ, nuff said!) since he fucks with people he doesn't know... but they know HIM! OUCH, right? Yeah. He's some very bizarre asian punk with some weird pig and brain fetish, a nasty UNDERBITE and speech impediment who likes to play tough guy on YouTube. Well, we'll see about that, right Ed? It's amazing what the internet will give you with just a NAME!

  • He doesn't actually know the REAL meaning of OWNED... *yet*.

  • @lin2log Coming from the guy that has 0 videos about video editing. Yeah we sure will take you seriously *rolls eyes*

  • @TearsOfWar1... yes folks, seriously, that IS his nick. I'm not making it up.

Great line coming from someone who themselves has... OOPS... ZERO videos on editing. Gee, that's embarrassing.

But hey, at least you have various professional YouTube-Troll clips to show for! *patsback* Being some polemic, ad hominem, provoking trash-talker and wannbe YT policeman makes us take you veeeery seriously! And you have SO MUCH to contribute as we can see, don't you?! Thank you, we are not worthy. *feetkiss*

  • @lin2log No but I know someone who does that you are being a total dick wad to, adobePC. That is why I sent you a message to you responding to adobePC. Get it? Nah I guess not. Oh well you sure do have nothing to show for what you say so why not just say anything, okay?

  • @lin2log Uh... what "folks" are you talking to moron? Are you pretending to be a stand up comedian or what? You really fail.

  • And wow, what a minuscule, sad, meaningless life you must lead. Don't get the respect you DESERVE in everyday life, do ya? Let's make up for it by "showing them!" on YT, as the all anonymous, driveling hater, huh?

Well, spew as much of your solipsistic bullshit as you want. Be big Mr. Provocative. You seem to desperately need it. But sorry, I'm way too far above you to fall for your pathetic kindergarden shtick. Blather and hate all you want, you won't get any response out of me. You bore me.

  • @lin2log Wow did you just describe yourself in that comment? Yeah, I think you did. I guess when I am on youtube I have a "meaningless life" except when you on it, it's okay? Wow you are such a hypocrite. You talk shit to someone that has video clips about video editing, and you have nothing. Yeah, I am sure you are just a big winner aren't ya?

  • Comment removed

  • @lin2log A GREAT VIDEO FOR YOU... you are just sooooooo famous

    ENJOY!

    /watch?v=mYXMLTQmDQM

  • @twotwoking

Hey Eddy Yee... just wait how famous YOU'RE going to be on your campus soon!! Excited?

  • lin2log,

I think I delete your post by mistake. I wanted to write your a response not delete it.

  • @adobePC

Oh yes, and I'm reeeeeeally sorry to say, but I can in fact pile NINE streams of transcoded (to ProRes LT, a far higher quality codec mind you) HDV or AVCHD video on top of each other on a Mac-Mini. Just tried it. Dropped the first frame on the 10th. Any questions?

Not that I even ever *need* that, but I'm sure that's the only true measure of performance or "ability" you can come up with, as IMAGINARY as it is... I know a guy who does 12! He must be SO much better than me!! Pfff... :-D

  • @lin2log

You idiot!! I can edit 125 layer if I converte to the CineForm codec asshole. You are wasting the clients time by transcoding the video files into the Apple Pro Res asshole. It is obvious you have never edit video professionaly.

  • @adobePC

Pwaaahahahahaaa... Cineform? CINEFORM?? You brainless turd are comparing CINEFORM to PRORES??! :-))))) Could you make your complete tardness on the subject ANY more obvious?? Nope! :-D But hey, keep diging! It's entertaining at least!

Oh and 125 layers??! LOOOOL.... with THAT computer??! And your 3GB p/s RAID that has yet to be invented I guess, eh??

    LOL!! Full fail.

  • @lin2log Seriously are you like 12 years old or something? You really don't know what you are talking about....At all...

  • You use this for "video editing"??! :-)))))

Great for wedding videos and shaky shots from your last trip to the beach, I'm sure. But since Final Cut Pro is the industry standard (for obvious reasons) for PRO video, this thing obviously can't and won't cut it. But enjoy it nonetheless... PC once again wins the pathetic race to the bottom... hooray!

  • @lin2log I absolutely love comments like yours...it is quite obvious that you love to try to insult people to prove a point...I guess it makes you feel superior...well, congrats, your a real man.

Come on, can't you just offer some constructive points and move on...people may disagree with me, but the select few, like yourself find it absolutely necessary to insult others to try to get their point across. Thank you for your comment, but frankly, if your going to toss out insults don't respond.

  • @lin2log

Don't just talk smack! Show me your system asshole or get the fuck out of my face. I will have a new video soon and I would like to add that I have had to bail out many FCP editors because there system were not up to par with mine you idiot.

  • Nice system I hope you're happy with it.

Though why did you go for a GT240? Don't you care about graphical performance or was this a decision based on your budget?

Something like a GTX 260 costs around a 100 bucks more, but you get 2 to 3 times the performance. :-)

  • @Dashing1256

With any system it is good ot create a budget and stick with it. For about $105.00 I could also have bought more RAM. I wantde to stay at about $800.00. The system shown is not exactly like mine but very close. I do use the case, MOBO, RAM, video card and CPU. I did have that DVD burner but I have a Blu-ray burner now. Anyone could opt for Blu-ra. I was trying to show a budget i7 video editing system could be built for $800.00. I want to get that Intensity Pro Shuttle next.

  • Looks like a hard core system adobe, if I ever needed a good desktop I'd have someone like you build it for me. Someone who knows what their doing.

  • @Zombiebrainstew

    Thanks dude.

  • Most mobo's I have dealt with doesn't automatically disable the on board vid card. I don't see why anyone would want that, just use both internal and external cards, all OS can deal with this, even Linux. Dip switches died in the 90's, and jumpers haven't been used in many years. The BIOS is what I think all mobo's use to disable hardware. Even overclocking now-a-days is all done with software (BIOS) ...you're dating yourself :O) ...and I should know

  • @ThingsontheWeb

There are some folks who have not built a system in ten years. That Is why I stated there are no jumpers or dip switches to set. All the motherboards I have worked on in the last two years dissables the onboard grpahics once a graphics card is installed. I did not say the OS could not make use of it but the onboard graphics does eat up system memory. I am hip to the BIOS dude but this is not a computer repair video.

  • Why do you like Nvidia

  • @xXShadowStorm9Xx

I have used ATI but for the programs I use it seems as though Nvidia offers a better bang for the buck. CS5 can make use of the Cuda technology with the right graphics cards from Nvidia.

  • All that and using a weak low quality power supply. Spend at least a little more and get a great PSU like Corsair.

  • @blacksteel25

Read my comments in the description box. My system is a low voltage system. Not all Micro ATX motherboards are low voltage. If you have powered eSATA ports or powered USB ports they might require more power and even state that the power supply needs 2 amps or higher standby current. If I had opted for the 1366 CPU then a better power supply would have been wise.

  • @adobePC a better power supply saves electricity.

  • Cool system AdobePC.

  • Dude, this rig totally kicks ass...oh and did I mention since your using a G-Force card you'll be able to reap the benefits from Premiere Pro? Yeah kids, you heard it right with this new system and G-Force cards Premiere Pro totally leaves FCP in the fucking dust! Gratz AdobePC, nice system...you'll be sunning on the beach done with your projects while the rest of us mortals will be waiting for our project to fucking render! Seriously nice system man!

  • @davidkjordan111111

Beleive it or not I have had many FCP users ask me to build a PC system to use with Premiere Pro CS5. Some FCP users were impressed with my Core 2 Quad. The Core i7 is worth the extra cash hands down but I know not everyone can afford a system like mine.

Some FCP users wanted me to do a video for a Hackintosh but I just don't have the need for a Hackintosh.

  • @davidkjordan111111

LOOOL!! Because of the "Mercury Engine", which does nothing more than Motion (part of FC Studio for you wedding video guys) started doing FIVE YEARS AGO (on ANY GPU by the way!), it's going to leave FCP in the dust??! :-)))) Wow... you need to get off that stuff you're smoking...

But I'm obviously not writing to a PRO but just a wannbe hobbyist, so I'll leave you your delusion.

  • @lin2log "LOOOL"? What is that? Is it Laugh out out out loud? That makes no sense retard.... Hey look at this! It's a guy that talks shit but never backs it up! Pssst, it's you.

  • I use an AMD triple core. Pretty decent. My graphics card is a nVida GeForce 9200, so it's not the best and it also has a nice 4GB RAM.

The computer has not let me down not once.

It's a good all rounded system, good for gaming, and video editing.

Only issue with my tower is that it's an Acer Aspire X3200 so the tower is too small for any graphics card to fit into it.

  • @illage2

I am going to be doing a video about that soon. Many Micor ATX cases can fit the larger GTX series graphics cards while some full ATX towers can not.

  • @adobePC Cool, can't wait to see it.

  • @illage2

I have built well over 100 computers and I am going to give some good advice to both Mac and PC users in my next video.

  • @adobePC what ya think of the six core AMD Phenom II X6 1055T?

  • @pacorocks1

You have top realize the Core 2 architecture was a big laep for Intel. The AMD CPUs at this time are not even up to par with the Core 2 CPU architecture let alone the i7. I will discuss this in my next video. It should be ready in about 4 days.

  • @adobePC don't waste your breath on the mac users they never listen anyway(except if you say you Steve jobs, you just need a black s sweater, blue jeans and the smile of a pedophile and you good to go ). But the pc world always listens

  • Seems like everyone's moving to the i7's. Personally, I still love my Phenom II X4 940. It was great when it came out and it's still kicking strong.

Hopefully, I'll move on to the X6's with the new motherboards.

  • Do you notice a difference with speed when running everyday apps like email, web, word, music etc with this new i7 rig?

  • @codebean

For email I will not notice a difference because I use a 3G network. 3-D animation software and video editing software will get a big boost with the i7 Vs. the Core 2 Quad.

  • Nice rig man you old one seemed pretty good too. I just built my 1st system went with an amd phenom 925 instead of the q8400 it was cheaper gets about the same performance. I know what you mean about mid towers, i a have micro atx mobo & there's too much room inside my case, LOL! Next i'll prob get a micro atx case as well.

  • @codebean

The 1366 version will work in any Micro ATX case that only has two expansion bays but I use all three of mine and that is why I like my case so much. For most of you the 1366 version might be a better choice. As of now I see no need for the full sized ATX motherboards.

  • @adobePC Yeah same here for me atx is over kill, but i can see how others might want the expansion

  • Not a bad rig, especially for the price.
