Sap, Premed, Cheap shot, Damage Trinket, Recuperate, Shadow Dance, Shadow Step, Ambush, Ambush again, Kidney before Cheap Shot is over, Ambush, Ambush again, Eviscerate/Slice and Dice.

If it's a caster and he doesn't have a trinket, do the same but after you kidney shot then ambush once, wait till the end of kidney, and Garrote, then ambush one last time.

You need keybinds an macro's to pull this off fast enough. It gets people to half.

@damianhaynes Diminishing returns. If you try to stun them for the fourth time, they will be "Immune" for 15 seconds. Good try though not utilizing recuperate, bleed buff, and wasting a vanish on a regular opener of yours.

Only thing is that, if you open with Ambush on a Paladin, and you try to stun him with KS, he's going to just use freedom on that. So the best is to just open with CS. Make him use it up on the second KS, then go back to ShadowDance, and CS him again. Then you have his one "Good" CD down. Just lettin' you know.

Hemorrhage, a Subtlety talent, uses less energy, does more damage than SS (in sub spec that is, cant vouch for how much SS does in other specs) and also applies a small bleed. Then, with a bleed on the target, you benefit from, (I forget the name of the talent) that increases all your damage to a target with a bleed on them.

So, use more energy on a weaker attack, or use less on a stronger attack?

Yes, but for a NOOB to pvp or BGs this is a good way to get used to it. Nothing worse than going into a BG without some sort of clue. You can always learn to adjust to each situation as it arises after you get the basics down. Overall it is a good base to build on for the newbies and lower levels.

you can beat a mage 10 different ways, i usually will mix it up when coming back on the same mage..a well timed cos can usually end it however it is u prefer to open.against locks just roll ur head across the keyboard and u should win :P

It means the mage cant do anything for 3 seconds, while you backstab away. then after they blink you can shadowstep and shadowdance then cheapshot them when they dont have their blink up. but if you open with cheapshot they just blink out and freeze you

Hmm I don't Evis, I don't open ambush cause they CC, which waste your armor pen, waste stealth combo heal (more of a defensive thing also), and waste you're trinket. (If you pop it >.>)

Garotte/Cheap will put out way more with 3 backstabs which can lead to like 50k, if you rotate Kidney, Garrote and Gouge along with you backstab you will win. This is without using shadow dance seeing as that fair better against healers imo

THere is no rotation in PvP. It al depends on the situation you are on.. Sometime you want to save your energi for a final dobbel damage with healer.. sometimes you will just keep preusre on healer or dps all the time. So you can't say there is a rotation you want to have in PvP

Eh, kinda not true. My best personal on a rogue is 2505, and I have a "rotation" for when I set up the kill on a healer.

For example,

Garrot, 5point recup, expose full, full rupture, grab a s&d, get more from recup, and get 5 points on the target.

Once you get the 5points, get full energy, vanish, ambush(Gets find weakness up) Dance, them spambush and end with a garrot. It's the perfect kill, you get all damage you can possibly put into the target in effect.

gotta say, eviscerate should be your least used finisher, and you shouldnt touch it while in shadow dance. it should be ambush ambush rupture, ambush, garrote, slice and dice, then resume with your backstabs.

Maybe frost will get nerfed in the future but atm its hard for rogue to beat a mage

@lordanoobis i would say if ur geared right. i have a 85 rouge and it hits pretty hard and with the mastery rating (main gauche) enemies take a great deal of damage fairly quick but i wouldnt expect a good outcome on casters, its mainly for melee combat. ive been able to step up against warriors and palaidins easier in combat spec then in sub or assass

1st off you're a moron for saying there's no rotations in pvp. So what you do COMPLETELY different things for each class? Do you ever cheap shot as an opener? I'd assume no, only if you're bad. There is a basic "rotation" for sub, and its pretty simple. 1) make sure recuperate is up before you shdance...2) make sure you don't use shdance till you have them in a full kidney and they have no way of getting out. and 3) pool your energy before. Fill in the blanks, that's the basics.
