  • i got 99 errors but a switch aint one

  • @david6568 Bwahaha xD nice one!

  • im contemplating between programming and graphics design, graphics design sounds better and funner but the pay sucks and its less in demand. also considering game design but the pay also sucks

  • 99 bugs but a bitch ain't one!

  • Lol, I definitely do the chair spinning thing.

  • Wonderful video regarding life of a programmer. I like to be a good programmer and having to be in a good way.

  • the sad thing is ITS ALL TRUE

  • @jshowa4 ... That wasn't really the point ._.

  • @jshowa4 Oh yeah, i programming in C#. and yep i mean "angry"

  • @jshowa4 That comment was a reply to the idiot TheImmortalia who commented above me. Read his comment and you will understand that I was making fun of him, not the video.

  • U want money or not? keep whining about it sucks and stuff stupid guy srsly.If easy jobs paid out well i never gone into programming.Brains use them for once then u find out that deticated things arent that hard.

  • @TheImmortalia I'm assuming that while pursuing a career in programming you lose your ability to write coherent English sentences?

  • @dickjustice911 It already effects my speech :o I always analyze real world things to see how they would break down in certain programing languages, and always catch my self speaking in if/then scenarios :P

  • @dickjustice911 Exactly

  • it sucks!!!

  • this is true if your a useless programmer otherwise the money is a like an all you can eat buffet the amount you can get depends on your hunger for money

  • Lol that's so me. The whole day revolved around me building something up. Got stuck several times at different points. Took a break, did something else, although all this distraction didn't let my mind get a break from the problem. I was frustrated to no end and was considering if I want to be a programmer, but damn the feeling of getting a problem solved is worth it.

  • @xxxffs totally agreed

  • It is all a matter of perspective. Outsiders, who are non-engineers, cannot understand the excitement that comes from working on a single problem for a long time, and finally solving it. To them, it looks like frustration, and anger. To engineers, however, it is one of the best feelings that one can experience, because of the mindset that makes an engineer and engineer.

  • @tundra010 it is frustrating and does make you rage xD, but i totally agree when you finally hit that stroke of genius and it works to perfection the feeling of "man beat machine" is amazing xD

  • @reemontel haha, agreed :)

  • I thought the artists are weirds in fact the programmers are worse

  • At 11 I decided I would become a programmer.

    6 years later I've got HTML, CSS, Javascript and C++ to go at, I realise I need to look more into a physical realm, buy an arduino.

    10 years from now I'll be driving a motorbike out of a building second story window with a nice blonde on the back as a nuke inside the building detonates.

    Either that or making robots.

    Hopefully.

  • @programaster HTML CSS Javascript is for noobs. C++? sure, awesome. But if you "need" to go low level, don't go arduino shit. Go old school 8051.

  • Top 5 signes of a evening (morning) of coding...

    1. A passed out programmer.

    2. Half (or completly) empty 2L bottle of "Mountain Dew".

    3. A glitchy looking program running at 20FPS on the screen.

    4. The programmers head on the keyboard and the letter "j" being printed multiple times into his IDE.

    5. You ask him how late he stayed up it will be some time after 1 AM.

  • Fuck this shit. I'm so glad I switched career paths to EET. I used to know C++, VB6, Java, and assembly back in my youthful days. Then one day I realized that if I wanted to program, it'd be with electronics and microcontrollers - actually seeing a physical form of "code" working. I can't sit behind a cubicle all day. I admire other programmers who can though.

  • This guy should have asked one of the architects. If I saw one of my guys doing wheelies on his chair because he didn't know wtf to do, there would be words. Oh yes, there would be words.

  • I would totally agree and don't even have my degree yet; it seems like in the end, one way or another the small problems are overcome and it all comes together.

  • I am going to be a software engineer and am currently a apple developer for iphone.

  • This is the best job in the world... Good programmers don't have any problems with tasks that other people give them, they only have problems with projects of their own... And what about that awesome moment where you figure out that something is working?!

  • @h333333333h Totally agreed.

  • @h333333333h oh man you totally got the spirit right..

  • Most boring job in the world.

  • @wiredgroup Even though it's a joke, it's not coded right.

  • @SingleBitsMedia Meh. No-one's perfect.

  • @wiredgroup code should be perfect.

  • @pac741 o_o

  • God how you make the programmation seem ,

    is not to that much , the peopole who do this mouvement is not just a programmers

    is a languages makers , you are just a user or a consomer

  • The sad thing is this is sooo true. Im a game programmer and this is exactly what i do all day long.

  • lame

  • Opening the language book, so typical :D

  • this is exactly what a monkey would do

  • man this guy dont work in this video he just thinking in work he need to start the script first

  • you forgot railing adderall

  • Confusion? And that's the bad thing? That's the thing I like in programming, I like it so much when I have to solve something really hard and after a good time getting the result. Ohhhhh, the result is the moment of satisfaction after a hard task...

  • i agree with u, once you finish or solved a problem it's really satisfying. but usually after you fix one problem, another one pops up and irritates the shit out of u!!

  • Also, i love that moment you firgure it out. It's like 'Holy shit, I've got it! Ok... time for line two... ... ... uh oh...'

  • haha cool vid!

  • @ 0,0 Say 'Hello, world!"

    Run clipper Hello.prg /m /n

    That's how easy programming is...

  • I hope you're joking...

  • @xlordaragorn it seems like your not a programmer,.

  • @xlordaragorn

    and writing a prescription is all a doctor does. I wonder what they do for 8 years in school? master their penmanship?

  • Indeed except for those serious ones.

  • true! haha

  • lmao,my friend in the other technical university told me to see this....it is horribly funny the truth people...

    "play the game catch the mice" oh my god....so "burned"

  • Lol so true xD

    I eat nuts almost all the time instead of working xD

  • haha, I agree...most of these guys are really unpredictable xD

  • cout<<"Just an Idiot"<<Get a Life<<endl;

    cin.get();

  • Scanner class... kb is obviously the value System.out.println("Should i be a programmer?"); String answer = kb.next(); if(answer="yes") { System.out.println("yes you should"); } else { System.out.println("no way in hell"); } *compile, run, answer questions*
  • It wouldn't compile anyways.

  • but why not =(

  • only the confusin fits in the day of a programmer the rest is more of a good example for the day of a retard

  • agreed haha

  • Hahahaha. I'm all too familiar with this. ;-)

  • man, everything in this vid is so true.... activeX is a total bitch

  • Oh I know those looks man, been there plenty of times. I often times find myself going over old, poorly documented code that I did months, or even a few years ago, and saying "What the hell??? Why the hell did I do it that way? UGH!!!", haha, go CodeMonkeys!

  • cout<<"crazy video/n";

  • What is the title of this track?

  • thats about how it goes lol

  • I'm 14 years old and I know a load of flash, evryting from php, mysql, i'm learing java and soon C++ . My dream is to make a company or something that develops games like fps and mmorpgs , I was bussy with a flash based mmorpg and had a load of stuff but its time to move on to the 3D and harder stuff i think, any tips? thanks !

  • Just work at it, and code code code. If you see something you haven't seen before, learn about it. Always expand your horizons into new technologies or better ways of doing things. In the end, experience blows most degrees out of the water. So get as much as possible.

  • Yep, I started C at my 9th, 15 now and learned a lot. Just keep going, start with simple stuff so you get more motivated to continue. I actually write MMO server emulators now in large teams, reverse engineering, etc. And like RaleTheBlade said, if you come across anything you have never seen, google it. Best way. Good luck with it and hope you'll succeed :)

  • which games are you writing servers for?

  • You dont need C to write game server, im programmer and doing stuff with php.. my work is with GPS Tracking device, i created server with php (it working from terminal or in windows cmd) for non stop i did while(true) :D so... if u need small server and you have short term of time do it with php :) its easy.

  • or if you want to get shit done. use perl.

  • try to make a physics engine dude..that would be cool.hehe

  • hahaaha, that's how I feel even though I don't do that full time yet. I am developing a few websites and software for my dad's company.

  • Microsoft Programmer ;D

    The Bug Maker

    Esse ai é o que faz os bugs.

  • LOL this looks about right!

  • haha, that's how it feels sometimes. Right now, I''m just a student...

  • Working for microsoft?

  • hahaha, youre just like me... damn, :(

  • The mexican comment was the funniest thing i completely agree LOL

  • FUCK MANY RACISTS HERE!!! fuck you ALL RACISTS!!!! and india guy....good luck u rulez as well evreybody who is devoted to it! fucking racists. ASSHOLES

  • nice vid~! how much do you get paid? :P

  • OMG i am a black who codes so wtf are you talking about blacks and Latinos cant code its not like our brains are smaller you bigot everyone can do ANYTHING they set there mind to if there devoted to learn and passionate in there field and for you to get 2 thumbs up must mean the world is still plagued by stupid racists.

  • Don't worry, we're not all like that :P.

  • Janjubie, he probably created two more accounts to give himself the 2 thumbs up. He just wants attention most likely.

    I assure you, camoy0, we are all capable to coding if we are committed to it. Race has nothing at all to do with it. If you had a bad experience with Blacks and Latinos then you just need to get over it. Deal with whatever problem you have. It's only gonna bring you down in the end. And we'll still be here coding.

  • @Janjubie In a comment about intelligence use good grammar idiot. That's why you people are looked down on.

  • Comment removed

  • @SLIPAnimations Hold on buddy, I can use good grammar when I want to. It's very easy to put a comma or semi-colon into a sentence. It's people like YOU who troll for attention that get me so angry I can't think properly or I just don't feel the need to respond intelligently to someone like you. So before you call someone an idiot look in the mirror.

  • @Janjubie I don't troll for attention. I was stating the obvious.

  • @Janjubie No, it is people like I who troll, and not for attention but for spreading frustration and empty anger within t3h internetz! And are you saying that by looking in the mirror one always sees an idiot? Or is it special kind of mirror that one has to look in in order to see an idiot? Or do idiots live in mirrors? See what I mean? HE is no troll.

  • @electronikita lol what a waste of time

  • @Janjubie I was about to give you a thumb until you asked for one, I gave you a down instead.

  • @Zeldakitteh umm, thanks, you've really ruined my evening. /sarcasm

  • @Janjubie let me guess, ur not in africa?

  • @Janjubie

    true word.... i m also german and half tunesian... and my skin is like this guys one ... and before anyone says the same to me, like to tingzab.... ( i m 15 ) and i m 3d designing since 2 years. and also mapping since 3 years (Source engine <--) :D

  • oh my god!

  • Dude I'm from India. Not Mexican. "Cutting the grass" heheheh

  • Camoy0, you are such a jackass... I knew he was Indian, but you thought he was Mexican... Plus, as a culture, it may look like Hispanic people, or black people aren't as capable, but they are just as capable as anyone else. Look at what Janjubie said. Douchebag...

  • Amen!

  • fuck you fucking idiot being black or mexican doesnt matter if your passionate and devoted to what your trying to do you can do it!

  • Lmao camoy, pathetic fool.

    You can't even use correct grammar

    "Latinos and blacks are not capacitated to do this type of activities "

    Correct version

    Latinos and blacks are not capacitated to do these type of activities

  • Im from Costa Rica, Flash Developer...

    Visual Studio, PHP, C++

    PS,AI

    Blender

    Povray

    ANY CODE!

    both lines are INCORRECT

  • camoy0, race has nothing to do with it you idiot. In fact I personally know a Latino that that could program circles around most people who claim to program.

  • LOL. I used to get like this when I started programming about 6 years ago. Now is pretty much sencond nature and you can find a code sample for pretty much anything in google. I usually code about 1 hour a day now and play the rest of the day. Unreal Tournament was my favorite for a while. Now I just go hang out at the Mall LOL. I used to have the same setup as you but I changed the laptop for a stinkpad. Anyways kewl vid!

  • I'm thinking about having Computer Science in Engineering as a Major. How would I know if I like programming, say if I like video games? Would I have to like programming in general and it's pertinece to computer games to like the job?

  • Try to learn programming and program something. You don't need to like games to like programming. But computer science requires a lot of programming so if you find out you don't necessarily 'enjoy' programming, you should at least accept it.

  • cool

  • fantastic :)

  • JOptionPane.showMessageDialog(null,"Nice vid");

  • int option = JOptionPane.showConfirmDialog(null, "Great??", "Comment", JOptionPane.YES_NO_OPTION);

    if (option == JOptionPane.YES_OPTION) { JOptionPane.showMessageDialog(null, "You are cool!");

    }

    else { JOptionPane.showMessageDialog(null, "You stink!!!");

    }

    // End of comment code!

  • its time to play.. lol

  • system.out.println("great video!");
