@weboffer totally... ya know, with that 4 cyl in there and all that jazz. and with the smaller footprint... oh man, I should go to you for car specs more often!
I like the fact that GM is testing all there badass rides at the nurburing. Ford doesnt know shit about the ring and how to test a badass ride, thats why they go to laguna seca.
I keep forgetting that the CTS-V is only $60K, so this thing should be somewhere around $25-$36K. Kinda feel sorry for the 3 Series it didn't even see this one coming.
The 4 people who disliked this video are BMW/Audi/MB drivers who are sad that they're going to get their a**es handed to them at the track by the ATS-V version of this car.
Being from Italy, I don't expect you to give anything other than German and Italian brands a look right now (you all are big brand whores to European brands, not a bad thing necessarily). Cadillac sucks over on your side of the pond (lack of a dealership network, lack of good models, etc.). It'll take a long time to repair Cadillac's image in Europe. Just remember, though, that in the 1940's, 50's, and early 60's, the status symbol car for wealthy Europeans was a Cadillac.
@alep85 c'mon bro... you just can't keep talking about 50's cars... it's simply impossible to compare cadillac and BMW... they're totally different worlds... in term of performance, technology, engines... believe me... there's nothing like German cars...
Keep talking? When did I mention 50's cars before the last reply? Regardless, you're a complete Euro fanboy if you think that new Cadillacs are lacking technology vs. BMW. The ATS and CTS-V's Magnetic Ride Suspension shares technology with Ferrari (GM invented it and shared it with Ferrari), and the 2.0T engine in the ATS has more HP per liter than any BMW engine. I respect BMW's, but don't act like the Germans are the only ones who use high-tech design in their cars.
@UFCextra how can they downgrade a car that never existed? the ats v will have no where near as much power as the cts v, 2 different classes of cars, different competition.. either a 470 hp 6.2 v8 or a twin turbo v6 with somewhere around 400 horses..
@cAdillac718bx damn a 400hp TT V6 would suck, it would probably be in the 4 seconds 0-60 (regular, nothing special) , it really needs to be more agile and faster than the current cts-v...something that beats ALL it's competition....I expect the ATS-V to have panamera turbo performance #'s, otherwise, it's weak
@UFCextra lol your point makes absolutely no sense unless you live in a ridiculous world of fantasy, this car isnt going to compete with the panamera its going to compete with the 3 series and c class and audi a4, a 400 hp tt 3.0 v6 is good "#'s" and it cant be faster and more powerful than its bigger brother the cts v, it just dont make sense and or dosent work like that, the cts still needs to be competitive in its own class.. the ats will probably have sightly better handling bc its lighter
@cAdillac718bx so what if it's smaller, there's no reason it can't be faster...it should be faster because it's newer....400HP is weak, that's what the 2004 CTS-V has, ATS-V must hit 60 in at least mid 3 second range to be a car worthy of looking at over European Luxury brands...400HP, 4 second 0-60 doesn't cut it...that's just average numbers

@weboffer LOL you are absolutely stupid, G8 is based on the holden commodore..the zeta platform. A full size. The ats is a compact, dumbfuck.

@weboffer Its actually a whole new platform. Do some research before you comment.

Looks awesome - especially how it takes that mid-turn bump at 1:48. Zero drama in the fast corners. I’m guessing AWD.

@emsox I'm pretty sure the people who make cars have the right to do whatever they want since they pay the track owner a hefty amount.

@larlar752000 Looks like a public track day since there are a ton of other cars doing laps too. They didn't rent the track.
