@MrChaliemurphy You don't know guns very well if you think revolvers never jam. It might be more rare than on semi-autos but they do in fact jam. Crap can get in the cylinder & prevent it from rotating. There's also a thing called "bullet creep" where, from recoil, the bullets tend to "creep' forward out of the casing & can get so far out they block the cylinder from rotating. Some of the lightweight Ti/Sc revolvers even warn about this in the owner's manual with certain bullet weights.

@DeadnDying no pistols? You American, friend? If you live in the states, you can own a pistol, just you can't carry it in some. Or, if you live in canada, you're pretty much restricted to hunting only firearms (no fun =[)
@TheSocialprestige My daughter just bought one in Prince Albert Saskatchewan. What a sweet little unit! I have a T-shirt being made for her that says "Problems? Talk to the Judge." In Canada though, due to its length, its considered a restricted firearm. Wonder if Harper would consider getting rid of more of the B.S. while they're at it?
@2433006guy I figured as much, how foolish. I have 2 lever action pistols that aren't restricted lol. Though I do have my restricted so I'd be willing to put up with the ATT BS for this beauty. Good on your daughter for keeping gun culture alive in the true north
@308Sharpie Hey guy! Had to put out 700 plus taxes in Prince Albert, Sask., but did manage to get a pretty decent deal on a pile of ammo. I did have to present my restricted firearms license, even though maheux4 claims he was able to purchase one without. I'ne seen some of the negative comments on the weapon here, but you'll have one heck of a time convincing anyone here thats shot it, that it has any drawbacks. It handles the .45's and .410's in shot or slug very nicely.
@2433006guy Ahh, little expensive for me, might have to wait for a used deal to come across my way. I am seriously considering the H&R .410/.45, that one is NR. I don't only want to use this at the range, seems a good survival gun.
@308Sharpie Expensive for me too! My daughter has become a lot easier for me to buy gifts for, since she picked up the gun powder habit. Her and her fiance bought a really nice little farm, with mega bush on it, about 20 odd miles from me. Lots of room for firing range, and excellent hunting! I feel comfortable that she can protect herself if it became necessary. She also has a 9 mm, a .357, and the sweetest little .22 lr pistol.
@2433006guy Pretty sweet deal, I would love to have an acerage one day. I live in the city so the only thing I can shoot on my property are air guns. But I am looking for CB caps for my Single-Six, see if I can shoot in the basement or even garage, if my dad doesn't whine about it (I'm 19 FYI)
I think my next handgun will either be a Ruger 9mm/.357 Blackhawk or the .45 Colt/ACP Blackhawk to match the "Survivor"
@308Sharpie Yikes to be 19 again! I can remember being 19, barely. I'm on an acreage, but only 3 kms from a town. Have 7 horses, 4 pigs, and 2 cows. A dog and 2 cats. Reason to get up in the morning. Lol. My daughters place is 1/4 section, 160 acres, with option on another bush 1/4. Good luck with your dad.
@308Sharpie We have put a pile of ammo through it, in both chokes, and it has never had a performance concern. By the way, the ammo deal is on going! And thats a good thing, considering how much we love using it. I can't help but recommend this one, and you are going to be surprised at the distance you can reach out. Take care, bud, and good shooting!
If it patterns well it could be a versatile small to medium game hunting tool. Also could be used for self defense in .45 Colt. Judge has had poor reliability so far though so the Circuit Judge reliability could also be an issue.
They need to make this in 6 shot with 454 casull compatibility, and they need to make a stock that will hold some spare ammo. That would make this gun a primo pack/survival piece.
the one thing i hate is when pistols are designed as rifles. no offense to the people that make them or like them. for the people that make them they have skill but cmon. a revolver with a long barrel and stock? it doesnt even look that nice
I guess I don't understand why someone would choose this over a 12 gauge pump or a .45 semiauto. Both are inherently better. There are literally zero things this weapon can do great.
Normally, that's no biggie. It's just a cool unusual gun. But if that's what this is, they should leave the cheesy rails off, and let it keep that revolver shotgun mystique.
i picked one up and held it for a bit yesterday... just seemed kinda cheapy. Although i didn't shoot it i'm not sure of the weapon's true performance. I think I'll pass.
Can you remove the stock and pistol grip it? it would be cool if it could take a regular Judge grip too. Although I do like that stock it would be a nice feature to be able to swith back and forth. It's kind of an ugly duckling, but I really, really want one!
@GunWebsites the .45 colt is the reason it has any rails for optics..but, im an iron site kinda guy. if you cant shoot with iron sites, then you cant shoot
MY GOD, is the only way to sell guns to the firearms moronic populace is to mount a rail?? Why not include a laser and flashlight as well.. If its not tacticool is not a real firearm right?? FFS...
@hwoods01 well dude its a taste, different people have different taste for guns, a pallet a item or thing that makes us attached to it. to each its own.
@4mpeed You sound like the COD fanboy if you think the ONLY way to mount a scope is with a rail. I guess you've never seen a regular hunting rifle with a scope mounted on it. They drill and tap the barrel for scope rings which the scope mounts in. I guess we know who the real retard is. Along with the people that voted down the guys comment just because they're two young or two stupid to understand the guys point. They took a classic looking rifle and put a pic rail on it.
@jwagon28 it all depends on your load. get some Buffalo Bore heavy lead +P in .45 Long colt, that propels a 325 grain bullet up to 1300 fps and that out of a revolver , now thats pretty adequate for medium game hunting.
@qwerty5000 And have the BATFE knocking down your door just as soon as a friend starts bragging to friends that you did it.If you want a revolver version,BUY one.Taurus & Rossi make a lot of these firearms.
@CitizenKane380 I know the gun youre talking about and Ive always wondered what it was. This just came out this year though. But its very similar. Are you sure you dont mean "El Dorado"?
I have shamed myself ! I love John Wayne movies and I got that wrong ! I did know it was from El Dorado but for some reason wrote Rio Lobo. Thanks for the catch.
I like that they are making lots of new ways to fill people full of BB's and or extremely painful shot that arent nessessarily lethal, bad guy might think about a different line of work after taking .410 birdshot to the face.
@lilham10809 NO !!! Most .410 chambers cannot hold the pressure of the .45 Colt !! T/C makes a Contender that shoots .44 Mag/ .410 (has a rifled choke tube for the .44)
Rossi makes this!!!!!

i picked one up and held it for a bit yesterday... just seemed kinda cheapy. Although i didn't shoot it i'm not sure of the weapon's true performance. I think I'll pass.

That is a truly brilliant idea. How does the shot pattern hold on this beast?

is this possible to fully convert back to a normal judge say if you had the pistol barrel and grip?
FPSdaybreaK 6 months ago
how much did the it run you to buy the gun?

THE ORIGINAL JUDGE PISTOLS HAVE A HISTORY OF IMPROPER CYLINDER/BARREL ALLIGNMENT.IF THIS HAPPENS WHILE FIRING THIS WEAPON U MAY BE MISSING A HAND....
4113randy 6 months ago
Can you remove the stock and pistol grip it? it would be cool if it could take a regular Judge grip too. Although I do like that stock it would be a nice feature to be able to swith back and forth. It's kind of an ugly duckling, but I really, really want one!

the only reason I see to put an optic of any sort is if you can shoot slugs out of it. Can you?
fishblade2 7 months ago
@fishblade2
.45 colt ....
GunWebsites 7 months ago 29
@GunWebsites the .45 colt is the reason it has any rails for optics..but, im an iron site kinda guy. if you cant shoot with iron sites, then you cant shoot
heybulldog13 5 months ago
@fishblade2 shotgun shells can be loaded with anything from bb's to grenades.

MY GOD, is the only way to sell guns to the firearms moronic populace is to mount a rail?? Why not include a laser and flashlight as well.. If its not tacticool is not a real firearm right?? FFS...
hwoods01 7 months ago
@hwoods01
Are you that dense? It is a standard way to mount an optic..

the key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look Modern enough.

@hwoods01 COD fanboy who tries to act like he knows guns and doesnt play COD. how would you put a scope on a gun without a rail retard.
4mpeed 2 months ago
@4mpeed You sound like the COD fanboy if you think the ONLY way to mount a scope is with a rail. I guess you've never seen a regular hunting rifle with a scope mounted on it. They drill and tap the barrel for scope rings which the scope mounts in. I guess we know who the real retard is. Along with the people that voted down the guys comment just because they're two young or two stupid to understand the guys point. They took a classic looking rifle and put a pic rail on it.

Reminds me of that gun in Metro 2033, but this is more awesome. :D
Foofighter18 8 months ago
@jwagon28 it all depends on your load. get some Buffalo Bore heavy lead +P in .45 Long colt, that propels a 325 grain bullet up to 1300 fps and that out of a revolver , now thats pretty adequate for medium game hunting.
waseem1173 9 months ago

TheNinjaManatee 10 months ago
sweet gun! it's going to be a bit more practical than the judge, by virtue of having more range and power, and dealing with recoil is easier

I cant help thinking if you cut off the stock and most of the barrel you could make one hell of a revolver

CitizenKane380 1 year ago
@CitizenKane380 I know the gun youre talking about and Ive always wondered what it was. This just came out this year though. But its very similar. Are you sure you dont mean "El Dorado"?
mikesb79 10 months ago
@mikesb79
I have shamed myself ! I love John Wayne movies and I got that wrong ! I did know it was from El Dorado but for some reason wrote Rio Lobo. Thanks for the catch.
CitizenKane380 10 months ago
I like that they are making lots of new ways to fill people full of BB's and or extremely painful shot that arent nessessarily lethal, bad guy might think about a different line of work after taking .410 birdshot to the face.

can you use 45 colt in any 410 shot gun? just woundering
lilham10809 1 year ago
@lilham10809 NO !!! Most .410 chambers cannot hold the pressure of the .45 Colt !! T/C makes a Contender that shoots .44 Mag/ .410 (has a rifled choke tube for the .44)
DasTuefel 1 year ago
@DasTuefel ok thought so lol. i was thinking the barrel and chamber of a 410 shotgun would be to thin for the 45 colt
