We are also doing this in chorus and are teacher is not to gifted with this stuff so we watch the viedo like 100 times and she still cant get it so we had to get some parent that know asl to help and now she has like half of it. I love this viedo it really helped and my teacher might not be the best at this but we all love her anyway:)
In chorus we're doing sign language for the chorus of this song...i just don't know it too well, and te concert is on tuesday...unfortunately, i lost my voice, so i'm really hoping to learn the sign language,as it's all i'd be able to do.
As a person now starting to learn ASL you did an amazing job. I was able to follow along and understand what you were signing. I'm going to forward this link to my class so that they can enjoy it too.
I love it, except your sign for "make" I had never seen before (at least I think that's what you were using for make...laying edge of hand on wrist, then further up the arm?)
Is it a different connotation of make than I am used to? Or is it a regional variation down your way?
This was well done... not only was the signing good, but I loved your artistic elements in how you cut to each individual, used the different hats and colors, etc to indicate the music style, etc. Awesome Job! Are you studying to be interpreters? Teachers of the Deaf? Where was this filmed?
