Can you update us if and when there might be the other 7 trailer descriptions? This was so fun and interesting to watch, that I was eager to see the rest of the clips.
The Smurf description sounds like a warning to be played over the radio in a time of crisis. "The Smurfs...are coming. The film is called 'The Smurfs', and apparently America will be getting Smurf'd this summer..."
This reminds me of that video where the parent asks their child to describe the plot of Star Wars. Your son Ryan is adorable, Max! Has he gone to college already?
@sixpixel I did consider the similarity, but then decided it was original enough because trailers are interpretations of films that don't always match the film itself and this is being told by someone who has excellent taste in film and can easily spot crap and cliches.
@sixpixel Yes, Ryan doing it does make it especially funny, but I think having to recap a two minute summary of a two hour (or so) film is funny in itself because it becomes this cinematic game of telephone that inevitably ties in a lot of one's own interpretation of things that can't possibly be fleshed out in the time limit.
The only thing that rattles me about this video as that he says "assumably" rather than "assumedly."

I too lament the poor grooming habits of orangutans. Why can't they get up, buy a shirt and tie, and make something of themselves?

The best thing about this video is that his one final statement sums up everything he said in eight and a half minutes of talking.

This almost makes me want to watch movies other than Starwars. Doth I dare risk my nerd status by going to watch the smurfs?

I am so glad that a trailer for "Drive Angry" is the first thing to pop up in related videos for this video.

The best thing about Ryan Murphy is the childlike glee in his eyes. Whether he's talking about the devil or fat orangutans, it's always there!
