what is the difference between gel nails and acyrlic? and when you are putting on gel nails, is it manditory to have a uv light?

@Oreo718p acrylic has a powder and liquid process to it and dosent need a uv lamp to dry. gel nails are done with 3 different types of gels (clear,pink,and white). I think gel nails r easier to do because it gives u time to fix things before it dries unlike acrylic once its dry there no point in turning back lol. so acrylic no lamp gels u need the lamp so that it can cure and harden. hope this helps

Just put your hand into the lamp about a few minites.

That will be dried of the nail gel.
