  • good jop but wasting time !!

  • Great Video!.... Please could you give some tips or do a video on polishing aluminum chequer plate, i'm not looking for a 100% mirror finish, i just want it a bit more shiney than the natrual aluminum. I can't find any videos on how to do this, the problem is sanding the textured surface. Please can you help? Thanks!

  • good job.

  • REAL POLISHING :)

  • That is what I call working for a living!

  • What am I missing? He is making reference to different grit sand paper but continues to use polishing wheels(?) I seen him sand once with 220.

  • @RCWinnipeg the greaseless compounds he refers to are the bars of abrasives he touches the wheels to. They are available in 80 grit up through 320 or so. They are like sandpaper for your polishing wheels.

  • At least he's more concerned with passing on information than trying to look and sound smart. Tried watching a video on polishing aluminum from someone from NY and shut it off after about 5 seconds of listening to him talk. You can hide BS, but it still stinks.

  • hahhahhhaa sounds like ozzy ozborne with the mask on lol,,,,cant understand a flamin word lol,,cool video tho lol,,,,,should have let you do my scooby intercooler and rad lol,,,

  • Thanks for the tips! Great British accent I love it!

Myself I'm trying to polish some Alu pieces for a PC case modding project and it really helped me to make it work!

    So thanks!

  • GRAET JOB SIR ! THANK's FROM EUROPE

  • You can disagree all you want with his method but if you don't have a video on here to help those of us who are trying to learn from him then shut the F up.

Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing polisherecp!

  • Wat the FUCK did he say!!! This nigga sounded the same with or without the mask...wat he should do is make a fucking video about him learning english and how to speak u dumb fuck..........hahah

  • @moneyhustlebizniz916 What language are you speaking? You should have been aborted by your mother but she was probably too busy sitting on the couch eating Doritos.

  • @shaunholdaway English and it is clear.

  • I couldn't understand what he said with the mask "off"....

  • what the fuck is he saying?

  • Dude, you're killin' me here! There you go, gouge all the edges with the chuck on the grinders! Just sand the Damn thing FIRST! Get all of your surfaces, Flats and Radiuses / Radii true and square! The more time you spend sanding the less time you'll spend polishing and with much better results! That piece right there will be nothing but shinny Humps, Lumps and Waves!

Everbodys Gone Surfin' Surfin' English Custom Polished Waves! YEAH!

  • This fellow has no idea about polishing or how to use the queens english.

  • Your the MAN

  • I can't tell if he's speaking Swedish or Flemish. How about some subtitles?

  • awesome man

  • The Ozz-man polloish!

  • brummy1965 ... great that you've been polishing for 25 years, now I need to ask how long have you used punctuation? :)

  • You can eliminate sanding after 220 by using a hard dipped wheel (this is a cutting wheel, usually red or orange) with the black rouge bar following with the white polish wheel and green or white rouge depending the quality that you want. I've been at it for 11 years now. Its very profitable. This would be how I would go about doing it in a cost and time affected manner. For the piece being polished it would take about 10 to 15 minutes for a #7 finish (mirrored) using pneumatic grinders and a da

  • after watching this video and being in the polishing trade for 25 years i have polished thousands of alluminum parts i have always used a proper linishing belt on a lathe to linish it and then use an open stapolle to mop it on and then colour it on a two section airflow to get the brightness using white compo to polish and white finish to colour this will give you a much better finish and will also eliminate any defects ensuring a great finish this is my opinion

  • seems to em you know how to polish s ill ask you ...

why not go polish to the last white wheel right away ?

i know you have to remove scratches first but it seemed to me that this guy made it good then ruined it and then made it good again and then ruined it again ...

so why cant i go to the last white wheel at the end and polish it that way ?

    tnx

  • Main reason you don't go straight to the finishing polish is because you would have to keep the piece pressed against the mop working for a lot longer and it's surprising how quickly you can eat into the metal creating dips in flats, rounding off corners and edges that are meant to remain relatively sharp and crisp.

    Hope this helps :)

Golden Rule (for polisher noobs) ... NEVER EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER HOOK YOUR FINGERS INSIDE ANY RINGS OR ENCLOSED PIECES COS YOU WILL LOSE FINGERS IN AN INSTANT

  • Is a linishing belt the same as a sanding belt? If not, what is it, please?

I can't figure out what a stapolle is. What do you mean by "colour it on a two section airflow"?

Since you are trying to teach here, I could use some more basic explanations. Thanks!

  • @brummy1965 welll linishing on a lathe ? what parts and who you work for ?.. leave the old bloke a lone he is old school like me

  • @OzzyDave6969 So Old School Means Half ASS!

This guy is more like quarter ass! No Thanks!!!!!!!

  • Still can't understand a bloody word he's saying with that damned mask on...

  • lol true...

  • nice tatoos

  • Great vids! Helped me alot =)
