  • these videos are so helpful thank you

its a better alternative then reading that painful handbook ><

  • @cheezynutsac - I agree. Thanks for your kind words.

  • what if cars 1 and 3 arrive at the same time?

  • @dfer0119 the video talks about that, in the case of a left turn, at 4:20. If they arrive at the same time, that is, cars number 1 and 3, and they are both going in the same direction in which they are already pointing, there is no issue, no issue with a chance of a collision, unless one of them jumps into the other lane.

  • What kind of questions do the written test give for a learners permit, i'm pkanning to take a test soon and I need to know what to study.

  • @GunsolKyle same as other drivers but more of them. The DMV also stresses safety for kids since most accidents involve teens, I am told, due to speeding and texxting or talking on cell phones. KNOW SAFE DRIVING PRACTICES for sure!!

  • Someone on an instrument?

  • I know your vocabulary is probably really poor but instrument doesn't only mean a "musical" instrument. It can be used to describe any object utilized by man. So yes, he could call those manually propelled machines used by pedestrians instrument. Please buy a dictionary!!!!!!

  • No, i just never heard it used that way before.

  • Emil46: it is a vernacular type reference, used in america. It can refer to anything used to reach a goal, point, complete an action. Like you might call someone an instrument of evil, call something an instrument to further my success, call an idea an instumentation of success, if you wanted to get poetic. One definition in the Merriam Webster dictionary is as follows: : a means whereby something is achieved, performed, or furthered b : one used by another as a means or aid.

  • plutogirl: I like that- any object used by man, or utilized. very concise and very accurate way to describe it. thanks.

  • @plutogirllovekj Thanks for the back up. Vernacular is truly regional, I am finding out!

  • what if two cars across from each other come at the same time?

  • there is no issue with your scenario since 2 cars going in opposite directions and not intersecting would not interfere with one another.

  • how is a bike not a pedestrian?

    its powered by human power....

  • In California, a bicycle is legally considered a vehicle (they operate on the road, not on sidewalks)

...everything else like skateboards, roller skates, etc. are considered pedestrians.

Also, a motorcycle is human-powered, BUT because it uses the roads, it's a vehicle. So it's an exception.

  • that is why it was given as an exception in the video. I am simply the messenger.

  • i know right, how lame is that!!

  • I asked myself the same question when I made the video. LOL!

  • these are really good tips! = D

  • w8 wat i sed car number 1 goes 1st how r u goin to tell me im right then say 4 goes 1st... O_O
