rose is a scorer and a 1 man team, rondo is a play maker and sets his team up for easy baskets and makes player around him better. its hard to compare them because they have two different styles of play.

Rondo is a pass first PG look at Nash he avg 11.2 assist per game last season he had no big 3 or stoudimire... Rose is better at shooting, driving to the hoop etc.. Hey buddy- The defensive system the Bulls are in does not give the Guards steals. Jason Kidd was a far better defender. Also, No he did not guard LeBron all series. Also- The Celtics didn't even play the Lakers this year in the playoffs idiots. They're in different conferences.

What the fuck? Neither of those teams were in the finals. I don't know what season YOU watched. Also, just because he's older doesn't mean he can't be better. Jason Kidd averaged 2 SPG, Rondo averaged 1, Jkidd averaged half a block a game, Rondo didn't even GET a block. AND remember Kidd held this up over a longer period of time. You tell ME who looked like a better defender in the playoffs. Rondo only got 2 steals in 4 games against the heat. How is that playing good defense?

If rose gets just as good as rondo at passing, even though rondo has the big 3, then it won't be close. because rose is by far the most athletic pg.

All Rondo does is dish the ball to the big three. Rose is faster, plays just as good defense, is a FAR superior shooter, has better ball handling, is getting better faster, and is way more athletic overall.
Rondo is a better passer, and a better inside shooter.
Take your pick, I'll stick with Rose.

Derrik rose isn't fucking bad it's just that Rondo does more of the point guard job whereas Rose is more of a One man show. He scores heaps because hardly anyone on the bulls team apart from 3 to 2 players can shoot the ball.

im a fan of both of these players but saying whose "better" will vary person to person... the reason ppl like dRose as much as they do this year is cuz he won MVP and carries his team by scoring most of the points... but you need to realize that rajon rondo doesnt need to drop 20+ pts a game because his surronded by top scorers. A the end of the day, you cant say ones better than the other. Bulls dont have as good of a team as the celtics. Therefore Rose is going to be stealing the show more than rondo who's team is better so he can share the responsibility with the rest of the team. Swap them around and rose would have to share responsiblity and then rondo would have to take more responsibility. Thats how it is.

derrick is strong individually. but rondo is a team player. they are different even though they are both point guard. They do COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THINGS. rondo get the assists. Rose get the scores. So what rondo got stronger teammate, so what Rose need to lead the team. There's nothing much to compare about them.
