Great Job....love the tone. I use a strat at this time. Any chance of getting that backing track or can you tell what the name is? I have over 20,000 tracks but so many are not any good. I am always looking for good tracks. If you are looking for anything let me know I would be happy to send it to you if I have the one you want. This guitar is a good value for those that would like a Gibson Es335 like me. I find it sound just beautiful. It's great for anything soft and hard with pedals. Godin makes professional equipment for any doubters out there.

however.. it's a 1500 dollar guitar. i would go and test it myself before paying even if it sounds awesome in demos :)

oh i have flier from one music shop in croatia and the guitar cost 13000 kn which is around 2200 $... however this is one of the best and nices guitars on the world

What gauge strings are you using on your Montreal?

I've taken a liking to D'addario EXL115 (.11-.49). They make the guitar feel a little more like an acoustic.

Sorry, should have been more specific, what gauge are you using in this video? They do not seem like 11's as I watch. I just purchased a Montreal off of Craig's List, and it had flat wound 11's on it, I took them off and put on regular wound 10's and it buzzed very badly - so I just took mine in to have it adjusted - but will not get it back for a week -so now I have to wait! It is a great guitar and your video helped push me over the edge on getting one. Thanks!

Those are 11's in the video. I switched over just as soon as I got the guitar. It did require a tiny truss rod adjustment and of course the intonation had to be set, but it's been super reliable ever since.
