Jon5700 - plz remove retard McBlemmen's comment. RIP is meant for Doug and Matt, the two pilots who tried to control the airplane while being burned alive when cargo fire right underneath them broke out shortly after their t/o from Dubai heading for Cologne, Germany. The smoke from the cargo fire made them basically blind, they couldn't see outside and they couldn't see inside (instrument gauges). Yet they managed to avoid hitting any populated areas. RIP Doug & Matt, you are dearly missed.

@iamasherful Terry Meiners refers to it as the Louisville Intergalactic Spaceport. The only reason it is INTERNATIONAL is because of ups. There are NO direct passenger flights to another country from standiford field, you have to fly somewhere else FIRST before going to another country.

I have to say for whatever resson this plane crashed it was not the planes fault. The 747-400 is the most reliable plane ever. I bet it was those assholes who enjoy watching planes blow up.
