  • This faster than a Japanese Sport bike? or am i just dreaming?

  • had my rocket 111 since 2006 and its cost nothing in repairs and servicing.i do the servicing.rear tyre lasts 6000 mile on mine.front lasts 8500 miles.buy one and love it.see my rocket on my channel

  • that thing has more engine than my car!

  • why would you pay someone to change your oil?

  • One crack of the throttle and BOOM, 60mph (-:

  • harleys break constanly, sportbikes to get an oil change here in oklahoma costs 30 bucks?????????????

Every year I do a benefit run with some 500 biked of all makes.

NEVER had a Harley break down. We have however had to trailer home 3 jap bikes and a BMW.

  • the rocket 3 engine has a bigger displacement than a lot of cars on the road.. that's crazy haha

  • @Salutatorium I didn't think Jeremy Clarkson liked bikes.

  • @Salutatorium cause those are "cars" not cars.

  • @petershaman thanks for clarifying

  • its not a very fast bike for 2300cc .. compared to a vmax...

  • thats slow as shit.. my dam dirtbike is faster then that get a r1 or gsxr or triumps sport bike

  • @kruppcody1 You stupid? This is the fastest Triumph they make... Speed triple and street triple wouldn't catch it, even though they are fast as hell, and neither would any other of the sports range from Triupmh.

  • @JackbeepsPrince lol ur a tard they make a i think its a 842 or sum wierd cc and i will stake my dogs life its faster.. my dam dirt bike is faster then that thing(from 0-90)

  • @kruppcody1 you must be a tard, you dont know what the fuck your talking about, they made this bike to be the fucking fastest, and your dirt bike can go faster? My fucking arse it can, they do 0-60 in 2.3 seconds, with no limiters and chipping on the fuel injectors they have 168 bhp, they can do 96 mph in 2nd gear before the pistons start bouncing, i know this cause ive fuciking done it and had it dyno tested...

  • @JackbeepsPrince lol w/e ya it faster then my dirtbike and my dads fjr1300 will kill it end of story urs is slow so hop off

  • @kruppcody1 All im gunna say is keep fucking dreaming, slow my arse, you really dont know what the fuck you are talking about when it comes to this, just stop trying to act smart and and fjr? Are you trying to make me laugh...

  • @JackbeepsPrince ya fjr 1300 ya 180 is like nothing to that bike it was had the front end up from 0-130 and no prob at.. can ur bike do that?? didnt think so.. iv ridden a r1 so ya that biek is slow copared to bikes we ride.. the slowest bike in my fam is a dam 1200 buell

  • @kruppcody1 Once again you have no idea what the hell you are talking about, 1 thing, and fucking r1 and a fjr are fucking plastic bottles that are meant to be streamlined, this is a god damn touring bike that weighs in at around 168kg with a screen, saddle bags etc and it can still get the front end off the floor with ease, read up on your stats moron, rocket 3 does 0-60 in 2.3 seconds, can hit 100 after that i around 3 seconds and keep on going, they have 140 mph but can go faster...

  • @JackbeepsPrince fjr is not "plastic" they have farings to help the wind go around and.. agin since i dont know what im talkin about a fjr is a sport tourer ......

  • The wild bike!!!

  • @romancarbone94 ben à voir... si ta un rocket 3 et que thabite dans le 67 je t'attends pour un petit 400m

  • Is this bike reliable? I am interested in it but I am not sure how good it is. I am a tall guy "6.3" and the rocket roadster is the only cruiser that fits me very well.

  • @trqmj I've owned the Rocket since February 2006 and have had no problems with it. Do expect to go through a rear tyre every 3000 to 4000 kms. Services are expensive as the engine and gearbox share the same oil and takes 6 litres to fill. But the arm pulling acceleration is impressive.

  • @rocketman1965 Thank you for your answer. I am glad to know that you had no problems with your bike. Today, I stopped by a Triumph dealership to know more about the rocket III 2010. The dealership told me that it cost $345 to do the first service. $120 for oil change and routine maintenance. Are these costs reasonable or expensive compare to other cruisers?

  • @trqmjI live in Australia and the costs are much more. The last time I got a simple service involving an oil change it cost over $200 Aussie Dollars. The truth is that unless you have a Japanese bike the services are going to be a bit hefty anyway. I don't think a rocket would be more or less expensive to maintain than a big Harley. For most people who can afford to have so much money tied up in a play thing it doesn't really matter anyway.

  • @rocketman1965 harleys break constanly, sportbikes to get an oil change here in oklahoma costs 30 bucks

  • @rocketman1965 A small service for my ZX14 costs about $240 AU, and a major is about $470. Interval is 6,000k. Big fast bikes are (relative to fast cars) incredibly cheap to buy, but not much cheaper to run.

  • @rocketman1965 Hi, have done 22000 kms with my Metzeler Marathon rear tyre and still a little left on it. Touring and outracing slow Japs and Harleys, got a 2004 Rocket and had no problems, done 30000 kms now, Cheers.

  • @rocketman1965 arm pulling is the right thing to say for it ^^

  • @trqmj have a look at a vtx1800 - i'm 6'2" and it's an awesome bike. Might look at forward controls when i get somewhere to work on it..

  • @trqmj dude did you test drive a Roadster? i'm also 6'3, never tried one but and trying to decide between the original and a roadster (my current cruiser is 1100cc)

  • @ArtoDelFunko I purchased a brand new Rocket Roadster last April and I am very satisfied with it. It's a bike that makes people say wow. It’s big, comfortable, powerful, stable and enjoyable. You just need to be gentile with the throttle. The riding position and the excellent balance of the weight make the bike very easy to ride.

    You won’t regret getting a R Roadster.

  • mouais pas mal, mais ça vaut pas le son et l'acceleration d'une V-max....

  • No wonder that thing is called the Rocket III now...

  • riding a superchargerd one of these would be like..having a bear tear your face off while sticking your hands in the fire and having your balls replaced with grenades

  • What an excellent description of riding a supercharged one. I like it!

  • i saw a supercharged version on ebay...225hp O.O

  • un vrai avion

  • Woooooo hooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • insane!!

  • very cool cruiser, When I had the money I changed my cbr1000rr to a rocket3.. mm no better both. I still want to see acceleration videos from 0 to topspeed (245km/u?)

  • if you can find enough road

  • They're speed-limited from the factory for about 125mph (200km/h). Removing the limiter on a stock R3 will net you about 155mph or so. Removing the speed limiter, a re-map of the ECU, and increasing the rev limit to 7200rpm will get about 170mph.

I've done that all, and cams, triple K&Ns, and exhaust. Never had it over 140mph, though - it's scary having a machine that damn big going that fast! And believe me, it'll get there in a hurry!

  • @Alisterwolf66 make a 0-100 video pleeeeeeeeeeeeease!

  • @ArtoDelFunko I totally should, huh? I'll see if I can't find a suction-cup mount for my dash cam (currently in my Bug).

By my best estimate, 0-100mph in about 7sec, tops. I was pulling 7.20s@98mph in the 1/8th mile, but couldn't pull a good light to save my life, and my 60-foot times sucked ass (I suck at drag racing, it seems).

  • @Alisterwolf66 I believe it must be stable at high speeds unlike some smaller bikes?

  • @petershaman Smaller bikes, such as...?

  • @Alisterwolf66 Such as …anything else, as it's biggest of all.

  • @petershaman Not necessarily - the R3 weighs less than some of the bikes it competes against, and isn't any bigger, physically. I've ridden a few similar Harley models and a couple of big Star (Yamaha) and Honda V-twins. I can't really say for sure if the Rocket's more stable at speed, since none of the competing bikes will approach 140, but it does feel more planted at 100+.

  • @Alisterwolf66 Very cool ! I ride the Rocket3 this year and was a bit disappointed. You feel the engine is restrickted very much. I really want to see the power-graphs of before and after the Remapping with K&N and axhaust. I have a 06 ZZR1400 now and has the same story; enormously restrickted power on lower revs, with a GIPRO ATRE module it gives up to 12hp and 20nm from 1500 to 6000rpm, and even higher revs !! Result is a totally different much more exiting ride..

  • @remroo Yeah, they really are restricted in stock form. Mufflers, cat delete, air filters, re-map... really opens 'em up! With very few exceptions, all new bikes are like this, sadly.

  • @Alisterwolf66. Do you still have that rocket? I just got a rocket III roadster and Was interested .. How much power did you put out, how expensive were cams?

  • my dad use to have one and they stupidly fast but sooo fun lol

  • wow thats fast

  • cool do more vids

  • I can see why they call it the "rocket"
