  • too bad Langhorne speedways gone now, I live where the track use to be and Theres some neat things in the woods where it use to be as well...

  • I was at this race! I attended "champ car" races there from the later 50s to the mid 60s with my dad. You could feel the danger when you walked in that place. I was there the day Jimmy Bryan was killed. Nasty business. There's nothing like it these days - which is lucky for the drivers!

  • @tjs55547 I was at the race too when Jimmy Bryan was killed.I was ten and was in the pits with my Dad.I will always remember that day.My name sake Wally Campbell was killed in a AAA car at Salem ,Ind. July 1954.

  • We don't need no stinkin' spotters!

  • If you didnt see these cars race, you missed something.

  • Absolutely fantastic. I remember my dads stories about Puke Holler, These men were Real Race Car Drivers. Thank you for sharing this video with the world.

  • Great footage! I wonder how many of today's drivers would be tough enough to run in that era... And I love seeing the old Indy car races at other tracks besides Indy (Indy is THE race, but it's a lot more rare to see races like Langhorne, Milwaukee, Trenton, etc...
