Really, AILD is pretty popular these days. They've been nominated for so much, but they've earned every second of it. When they won MTV's Metal Gods award a couple years ago, that was amazing. They were up against some of the most greatest secular metal artists too. And they smoked em'! It was awesome.

At Cornerstone there is no such thing as "just" indie. It's CORNERSTONE MAINSTAGE. Cornerstone is all about what IS NOT mainstream, all over the radio, up your rear end, hear it so much it makes you sick of listening to it, homogenized, pasteurized, blenderized, sound-like-the-next-guy-ized music. "Just" indie? That's an insult really. My 2 cents...whatever that's worth.

You didn't insult anyone. I was just trying to explain why AILD/Indie/Mainstage all work perfectly together at Cornerstone. Cornerstone is nothing like the mainstream festivals - NOTHING. If you've never been to C'stone you REALLY need to go. It's a total cultural experience. Once you've gone you'll skip meals, cancel your cable, whatever it takes to save money to go EVERY YEAR. Sorry if I seemed to be ragging on ya. Besides, My 2 cents isn't worth so much anymore...inflation.

I was there and they rocked the socks of our feet! It was my fifth time seeming them and the best yet! I was on the gate in front of Nick Hipa. Got his guitar pick for the second time and my brother got the set list. It was AWESOME!!!
