there are many fake artistes out there who pose as the real dancehall artistes, they make money from doing fake dubplates etc... KMC because of technology you no longer have to be in the same studio to do the track. neither KMC nor his producer ever saw the pserson who sang on the track...note that the payment was made via Western Union!

Once you listen to that track, from you know Movado, you can tell quite easily that that is not him singing. I also dont think that KMC is lying either, but it seems pretty clear that he was tricked into believing that it was Movado on the track.

In any case, from a producer tell u that he has Sizzla on a soca riddim and that doesnt raise questions on your part then u deserve to be conned.

I now understand the mix-up and how both KMC & the real Mavado got conned so neither of them is lying! The guy on this track from St Lucia who calls himself Movado spells his name M O V A D O while the real Mavado from Jamaica officially spells his name M A V A D O.
