I can't find the opening number for the tony's for this year, (where each musical does a piece and it ends up being a huge number). Is there one up? I think it would be amazing!
i love grease!!! but was anyone else thinking dance break...??? not soo great and kinda not necessary, i mean we understand they're the stars and they have awesome voices but their dancing not so much
The Lion King did win best Musical in 1998, when it was up for best musical. That was just a special performance to celebrate the 10the anniversary. So I don't know what you're talking about.

South Pacific is unarguably the one of the best musicals of all time. Much better than this malarkey and the lion king..

definitely was rizzo in my high school's production.
our entire cast went up to NYC to see this.
we practically based our entire show off of them.

NO! Grease is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The play is awesome. When they were on the tonys they didnt do as well as they do it in the play.

Saw this in January. It was "okay". I personally like musicals like Spring Awakening and [title of show] but that is just me.
