@KevinBelen Yeah.. That's the one im using.. its in the site StopAcneNow.co.cc and I really suggest you try it too! In less than a month you will end up with a smooth and clear skin just like mine..:))
They either stitch it up or they pack it with gauze with has to be changed every day. I had my surgery in april and they stitched me up and two days later it broke open so mine just has to heal on it's own. It sucks
@MrEmt19 I want to get laser surgery because I have reoccuring inflammed cysts on my butt and chest area but because of my dark skin, I think I might develop keloid skin so i am apprehensive. How did yours heal?
So this is how they get those huge holes on their butts..looks like there could be a better way of doing this, so as not to create such a huge hole in the body...enjoyed watching so I guess it really doesn't matter...dws

@MrStickywicket hey dude i was wondering how long did you have the cyst before removing it? and was it painful during surgeory? and after removal how long did it take you to be able to do your regular things? thank's in advance
No. The black soy sauce stuff you guys are talking about is probably Betadine. It's an antiseptic (anti infection) solution used in surgery to clean the surgical area. It's a dark brownish color, that's what you see. It's not soy sauce and its not dye. Just FYI.
I'm actually getting mine removed this month. That black soy sauce stuff is actually dye to put in there to see how deep in there it is or something. But luckily mine hasn't been around for too long. So if anyone has this go straight to the Doctor. You don't want to have to wait around on something like that. Or else it gets really big and there's a lot more of problems to deal with.
So don't be scared just because you 've watched this. I 've actually never seen my trauma. Go and have your cyst removed (mind was growing for 3 years). You 'll feel countless times better then. The only real drawback is having to change the bandages regularly. It puts a great limitation on where you can go and for how long, but it is worth the trouble.
@OfAwesomeWin And if you are able to get yours closed (like mine) you don't even need to change bandages. Hopefully mine won't get infected (so far so good) and will heal normally like those that have them removed and left open.
I had mine done 2 years ago (without the aid of laser equipment). Local anesthesia, no pain at all. After the surgery I stood up, walked (was asked to do so) back to my room got dressed and left the hospital. Simple as that. The procedure was painless, the surgery room's radio blasted some rock classics. A nurse was there chatting with me while the surgery took place (to distract me), learnt some great hospital gossip from her.
i had this procedure done about 5 years ago. wish id had mine filled. intriguing. also........disgusting i may had. thats a huuuuge hunk of flesh that was revmoed there. lol
I am having the surgery in 2-2010. This is my 2nd abcess, 15 years apart. They didn't numb me, just sliced...I would MUCH rather give birth with no epidural...the most painful thing I have ever endured.
I had mine done just few months ago. it tunneled it's ways really deep so it left a huge open wound. The pictures I have don't even do any justice. It took like four months to heal. I'm doing better now. Good luck everyone else
I had the procedure done about 4 years ago. It was about the same size wound as the video and they left it as an open wound which had to be packed and bandaged every day for about a month then twice a week for another five. All in all the wound didn't fully heal for a good year. Not exactly fun, but the doctors were great.
@UnFortunateSon1 I'm wondering that myself. I'm guessing that it's intermixed and you have to remove a whole bunch of tissue to remove all of the sinuses.
Really not trying to be mean but, what happens to that huge hole thats left afterwards? Does it fill back in? or do you just have a huge hole in your body for the rest of your life? just wondering
I was 35 when i got my pilonidal cyst!!! Being a teen has nothing to do with it!!! It is painful after surgery the pain is no where like before it was removed!!!! I has mine cut out and got stitched i has 12 stitches!!!! Heald up alot faster because the stiches 2 times faster!!!!
I have one of these fuckers. Off to get it removed on the third.
I'm not getting mine packed, for me they're doing a Limberg flap, which means lifting off a square of skin around the cyst, sucking up all the pus, and then getting a new square of skin to put over it. It shallows out the top of the crack and means its less likely to push hairs inwards again.
Doing it this way seems much better also with laser surgery? But they don't remove a huge chunk of flesh around the cyst with hairs. Could have been a different scenario in that clip though.
hey, i had this and i just thought id let u no, it remains painless after surgery, and the easiest way, albeit embarrassing, is to get ur mum or dad 2 check ur butt when u hit puberty and start gettin hairy. they should look for little holes in the top of your buttcrack and make sure those holes/ intentations stay clear of hair, even if it means removing all the hair in the surrounding areas. There are creams that help this!! good luck!
I had one a few years ago. It ran the whole length of my ass crack. All because one dr. mis-diagnosed me. I will tell you this, the numbing meds that they gave me SUCKED. 7 shots IN and AROUND my asshole.
The post-op sucked. Its not hard to keep cleaned. For the first week, it will be nasty and will come out easily. After that, MY suggestion is to take a shower and let the water soften it up for a few minutes before u try to pull any gauze out. If u dont, u will know that is a good idea to do.
i cut my own twice already with some scissors and it return rite back i crazy glued it and it just didnt work mine its pretty small about half an inch i had this for a year already and it just wont heal im just wonderin about surgery cost how much will it be?
Had one when i was sixteen had surgery. But a year later it came back. i didnt tel anyone cause i thought it would heel on its own. im twenty now and didnt have surgery until a month ago. this time they got me hooked up to a wound vac, cause it reduces the chances of returning.
We think my husband has one of these developing, its right above his tailbone and he says it hurts to sit down.
I didn't think the surgery would be this serious...how much time off from work does a person need and will it come back? Also if he doesn't get it operated on will it go away on its own?
nope it wil not go away, might be dormant then flare up again and it is really painful. have it removed it made a world of a difference for my husband=)
that sounds like a pylonidal alright. i had one and had the surgery... they will not go away by themselves .... recovery time until you can sit down comfortably is about a week - a week anda half. i had an amazing doctor which did not perform the surgery in this manner. he closed the wound with stitches and i given local anesthetic and made drowsy with a Valium-type drug. it took about 20 min. let me know if you have other questions
I had the PC Surgery back in 2000. The recovery from the surgery is painful but no where near as bad as the pain before they removed the PC. If someone has a really bad PC I highly recommend finding a reputable surgeon and having the surgery. However, make sure they cut it out and then let you heal from the inside out packing it with gauze 3x day. Do not let them suture up the wound or you will probably wind up needing the surgery again a few years later.
this whole packing business... what if the patient lives by himself? how will he be expected to change that 3x a day. it's all the way in the back. can the patient drive to the clinic to get the packing changed? i'm about to get one in about a month.
if someone really knows much about this, then i would really like to know what it is and why u get it. So please, if you do know, send me a PM and tell me. Thanks
According to my husbands doctor it is caused by an ingrown hair in the lower back area(usually the crack that got infected as a result of the lack of air circulation due to moisture in that area) due to pressure in that area for prolonged periods of time like driving, or even doing sit-ups on a hard surface. thats what we were told so hope this info helps
I think it has something to do with the fact that the tail bone is indeed a vestigial tail, and sometimes there are hair follicles in there. Not sure though. I know a kid who had one, and he had a hell of a time getting rid of it. I'm not sure that he ever did. Rush Limbaugh has one.
The potential to get a pilonidal sinus tends to run in families. Men mostly get them but occasionally women. Ingrowing hairs at the base of the spine become infected and the body creates a "sinus" (tunnel) inwards to drain the pus. This can swell and become very painful. It dicharges bloody pus gradually or sometimes in bursts onto the underwear.
Apparently keeping the base of the spine clean and shaven after puberty can help avoid this.
That looks like it would be one hell of a steak! Really took a chunk out of him, wonder if it would scar much... I've got a pilonidal sinus and need surgery on it. Just hope that anesthesia keeps me asleep while they cut/burn my skin off :P
wow, now i couldn't let any one dig a hole like that in me!!! that's just nasty!!! who would like to eat soup out of that ?!?!
thebest way to get tid of those is to squeeze it and then sew it up!!!
franchment c'est le plus degeu!!! qui oserait se laisser fair un trou dans sons corps! c'est hideux et puis je ne pourrais pas me laisser faire ni vivre avec ce genre de truc!
the incision is not closed. It has to heal open, from the inside out. Just above my tailbone there is a hole that is skin, kind of like a pocket with a small scar below it. Butt looks like this [-xo. Embarrassing, yes, but it doesn't hurt and that pylinidol was cyst was excrutiating.
I know what you mean. I first had my cyst, same place as you, when i was 18, im 26 now and it has NEVER been removed or anything. Doctors wont touch it. It is the WORST pain ever.
I have one of those. One time I made the mistake of bending over and put to much pressure on it and it burst open. After that the relief I had was great. But it does come back worse.
Just had mine 10 hours ago. I had seen my cyst around August 2008 but didn;t have the time to go up till now. My doctor used local anaesthisia and left the wound open to heal fron inside to out.Told me it culd take up to 1 month for recovery as as he said mine was relatively a small one (by small one he meant taking out a piece of ''meat'' a 6cm wide x 3cm in diameter :) ) while i only thought that this surgery would just meant opening a hole and draining, lol.
Anyway, i don't know if he used a laser but he surely was burning something down my ass because of the smell. Anyway, i'm not having a great pain so far (only few hours after the surgery), but i can't lay on my back on my bed, so i have to be faced down the bed all the time. And of course, i won't be able to make any more drum cover videos for quite a while as it seems.....
I had a cyst of this type removed from my tailbone when I was 19, nobody used lasers back then. The hole is left open and must be packed with gauze, changed and flushed with sterile fluids ever day.
My understanding is it had to heal from the inside out, or it would form a new sack. It does leave a healed hole, but this prevents the cyst from returning.
When mine was causing me problems, it was like a golf ball, and sitting was excrutiating.
No pus. looks nasty and I imagine the smell of cooking flesh is just deluxe...NOT...I hope they gave this dude a morphine pump for pain relief. Is it normal to have so many people in theatre?

So, does this mean Rush Limbaugh COULD have gone to Vietnam after all?

If u dont, u will know that is a good idea to do.

i cut my own twice already with some scissors and it return rite back i crazy glued it and it just didnt work mine its pretty small about half an inch i had this for a year already and it just wont heal im just wonderin about surgery cost how much will it be?
prozag11 2 years ago
It can be pretty pricey. Have you made sure that you got the sac out when you lanced yours? Because if you didn't it will just keep coming back.
moose656 2 years ago
Had one when i was sixteen had surgery. But a year later it came back. i didnt tel anyone cause i thought it would heel on its own. im twenty now and didnt have surgery until a month ago. this time they got me hooked up to a wound vac, cause it reduces the chances of returning.
MoneyOverBitches806 2 years ago
We think my husband has one of these developing, its right above his tailbone and he says it hurts to sit down.
I didn't think the surgery would be this serious...how much time off from work does a person need and will it come back? Also if he doesn't get it operated on will it go away on its own?
Alliem71 2 years ago
nope it wil not go away, might be dormant then flare up again and it is really painful. have it removed it made a world of a difference for my husband=)
koryn86 2 years ago
that sounds like a pylonidal alright. i had one and had the surgery... they will not go away by themselves .... recovery time until you can sit down comfortably is about a week - a week anda half. i had an amazing doctor which did not perform the surgery in this manner. he closed the wound with stitches and i given local anesthetic and made drowsy with a Valium-type drug. it took about 20 min. let me know if you have other questions
longov 2 years ago
So you can get the procedure done with stitches? How long until it totally healed? Is there a greater chance for reinfection?
dykie87 2 years ago
I had the PC Surgery back in 2000. The recovery from the surgery is painful but no where near as bad as the pain before they removed the PC. If someone has a really bad PC I highly recommend finding a reputable surgeon and having the surgery. However, make sure they cut it out and then let you heal from the inside out packing it with gauze 3x day. Do not let them suture up the wound or you will probably wind up needing the surgery again a few years later.
JoscelynRenee 2 years ago
this whole packing business... what if the patient lives by himself? how will he be expected to change that 3x a day. it's all the way in the back. can the patient drive to the clinic to get the packing changed? i'm about to get one in about a month.

if someone really knows much about this, then i would really like to know what it is and why u get it. So please, if you do know, send me a PM and tell me. Thanks
marko94serbia 2 years ago
According to my husbands doctor it is caused by an ingrown hair in the lower back area(usually the crack that got infected as a result of the lack of air circulation due to moisture in that area) due to pressure in that area for prolonged periods of time like driving, or even doing sit-ups on a hard surface. thats what we were told so hope this info helps
koryn86 2 years ago
I think it has something to do with the fact that the tail bone is indeed a vestigial tail, and sometimes there are hair follicles in there. Not sure though. I know a kid who had one, and he had a hell of a time getting rid of it. I'm not sure that he ever did. Rush Limbaugh has one.
aredditor 2 years ago

Just hope that anesthesia keeps me asleep while they cut/burn my skin off :P
phearpizzle 2 years ago
wow, they realy cut this person up huh? they got a place in Dubai that only puts in a 1cm in diameter whole, and pulls the cyst out that way.
BUT! I hear you can use laser hair removal to help make sure these things don't come back!!!

my hole was after 2 weeks
length: 7cm
width: 3cm
deepness: 3-4cm
manyah58 3 years ago
How do they know how deep it is?
You couldn't even see it from the ouside.
Do they take an x-ray or something?
That isn't a hole, it's a crater.
spikefivefivefive 3 years ago
the incision is not closed. It has to heal open, from the inside out. Just above my tailbone there is a hole that is skin, kind of like a pocket with a small scar below it. Butt looks like this [-xo. Embarrassing, yes, but it doesn't hurt and that pylinidol was cyst was excrutiating.
nycrickette 3 years ago
I know what you mean. I first had my cyst, same place as you, when i was 18, im 26 now and it has NEVER been removed or anything. Doctors wont touch it. It is the WORST pain ever.

I have one of those. One time I made the mistake of bending over and put to much pressure on it and it burst open. After that the relief I had was great. But it does come back worse.

Just had mine 10 hours ago. I had seen my cyst around August 2008 but didn;t have the time to go up till now. My doctor used local anaesthisia and left the wound open to heal fron inside to out.Told me it culd take up to 1 month for recovery as as he said mine was relatively a small one (by small one he meant taking out a piece of ''meat'' a 6cm wide x 3cm in diameter :) ) while i only thought that this surgery would just meant opening a hole and draining, lol.
lakislalakis 3 years ago
Anyway, i don't know if he used a laser but he surely was burning something down my ass because of the smell. Anyway, i'm not having a great pain so far (only few hours after the surgery), but i can't lay on my back on my bed, so i have to be faced down the bed all the time. And of course, i won't be able to make any more drum cover videos for quite a while as it seems.....

all good now?
i had it 6 days ago dude...
pains only when dressing changes
dancetotunes 2 years ago
I had a cyst of this type removed from my tailbone when I was 19, nobody used lasers back then. The hole is left open and must be packed with gauze, changed and flushed with sterile fluids ever day.
My understanding is it had to heal from the inside out, or it would form a new sack. It does leave a healed hole, but this prevents the cyst from returning.
When mine was causing me problems, it was like a golf ball, and sitting was excrutiating.

how the hell do you go to the bathroom? That must hurt horribly!
