hey i bought this gun today, its my first air rifle, got any tips on how to keep it in top shape? and how often should i grease it with automobile oil, i really dont know anything about this so where do i have to specificly oil it and such? i know im an idiot at these things, just really wanna keep it in perfect shape, also what do you do if the Pellets get jammed? is there like a thing you can buy to clean the barrell?

@kellydanig Use gun oil, not automobile oil. Rem Oil is a good brand.

I've got the same gun. Nice shooting... My backyard is huge and I have like 2 acres to play with so I set up huge distances and push the 500X to the limit. I tried to record me shooting a lighter from like 200 feet away and it blew up, sending the pellet into a tree which ricocheted into my phone, breaking it.

hey yea the winchester only loads one pellet at time and costs aroun 150 dollars, but the good thing is its mostly made of metal and wood, barely any plastic.

Only one at a time

you reload one Pellet at a time, but if you have your pellets near by, its really easy to cock it and simply put your pellet in and cock it back inwards, it takes like 5 seconds to reload once you get the hang of it, and it also makes you take more time on your shot so you become a better marksman in general

When I open the barrel it's easy, no problem here. But it's much harder to close it, it's made that way to be sure it's tight. Don't pull it slowly to close the barrel, give it a nice and strong shock as if you were angry at it!

i mostly shoot in my basement, i got a bipod and a red dot and the scope, i shoot at 20meters when im in my backyard but its 15meters in my basement, when i hunt i usually kill at 30meters

I don't think they made a supressor for this gun unless you make one yourself. Why do you need that, this rifle is not so loud.

Yes, those are the knobs to adjust the scope. The top one is for up/down and the one on the side is for left/right.

i have that gun too. great rifle. its more accurate than in thid vid ( not accurate here becxause of the camera) the screws that hold the reciever to the stock come loose after about 30-40 shots. but other than that its a great rifle

Yeah I've noticed that the screws come loose and it's very annoying to tight it every time! For the price, i'ts a decent rifle anyway.
