a 25, 50, or 100 horse race (we call them rides) with one horse one rider in one day. 25's are considered a "practice ride", 50 usually take 4-8 hrs and 100's 10 to 14 hours. There are vet checks along the way to insure the horses are sound and doing well.

Oooh I really want to do endurance!! If only my mother would let me have a horse :(
