@Ella12ize . . . For decades I've argued that ignorance is more than simple unawareness. A word was needed to identify that state of resistance so common in human beings that is characterized by close-mindedness and unwillingness to face truth. Ignorance is based on the root word "ignore," which means to close one's mind, to disregard deliberately. In some legal studies I came across the term "wilful ignorance." That's a good term. I've been going with that lately.
TRUT <3 'shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Lol love this guy :D
@epinephrin2010 i don't really think you watched this with an open heart and mind.. i'll just say what Osho just says here: life is not what you think it is..
Nothing is impossible. It is simply a matter of WANTING to do something. Open your mind, do that which Osho says. Your life is your own. Your universe is your own. Your existence is your own.
Misunderstanding is not reserved for Buddha alone but for Jesus and Muhammad also. People of the world please try to wake up and end suffering, yours and others!
@wachiramond --I would agree that Christ is misunderstood, or rejected better yet, because his doctrine calls man beyond himself. As for Muhammad, his doctrine is very obvious and is rejected rightly by most people. Lastly, as for Buddha, he appears to have been confused about who he was and thus started to 'discover' himself. One who knows who he is and his mission. The second and third looked to see if they could discover their real selves.
same spiritual message is in ALL great spiritual leaders, such as Nanak, Christ, Krishna.... if a religion teaches to "kill unbelievers" then it is not a true path...
I really wasn't much into Buddhism though I was born in Nepal but I was going through some western philosophy especially those of David Hume and modern epistemology and they seem so much similar to that of Buddha. If Buddha is awareness than I guess philosophers like David Hume, Bertrand Russell and scientists like Carl Sagan truly understood it's meaning. Wow, only if these preachers could speak less in metaphors and just be straight forward, agnostic atheism defines it all for westerners.
I don't know who this man is and have not heard him speak before but in this video he successfully portrays the Buddha that I know and how I see him.
"..his path, like that of birds in the air, cannot be traced." -Dhp 6:93 Arahantavagga
The face of Buddha was glowing with light that was not light or glowing. The buddha was compassion and awareness, arrived at the unconditioned state beyond state, mind and volition. Truly his way is the best of ways, even for christians, and all other folk.
Something wonderful, knowing is within all of us... You, me, everyone.... sri Nisargadatta Maharaj; The greatest guru is your inner self. Truly, he is the supreme teacher.... Confide in him and you need no other guru.
@TheMirrorPhantom I found the deeper I go into this incredible understanding the least I am able to talk about it because words become meaningless and if I try to make it understood what I know it is never without sounding like a blithering idiot to those who follow the system
I like some of Hys Ideas But , I dont like a man whith Watches, beacause the Idea of Time some times is controling and Limited , Eny way makes my Happy to lisen so I will Keep lisening
From my understanding, He meant what the buddha see and what we see are diffrent from human point of view. It is the view from insight. Just like when you an expert of something it its imposible to tell others how you can do it, but you can tell others how to achive it. Some spiritual things can be understood, but the state of buddha can be only achive only by training ourselves to realize the thruth of the self and mind by knowing without interpret it.
AH, what did he say, before i fell alseep? is he telling me that a buddha must'nt be understood? thats a good question....so something spiritual cant be understood easily...why didnt he just say that? He sure has got a problem then hasnt he
@loudmouthspeaker No, he was specifically saying a buddha couldn't be understood. Not anything and everything that is spiritual, specifically buddha and enlightenment. It has to be experienced and cannot be taught. So a buddha will not be understood. Does this help?
@loudmouthspeaker "is he telling me that a buddha must'nt be understood?"
No, he is telling you that a Buddha CAN'T be understood.
This implies that the human faculty of logic (which we use to 'understand' things) is of no help when you are confronted with a Buddha. To 'understand' a Buddha (to REALLY understand WHAT a Buddha wants to convey and not the language he uses to convey it), you must go beyond words and ideas, into the realm of EXPERIENCE.
@Alaaeddinebarakat he is talking about A Budha and not gautam budha. Osho is enlighted and thats why he is a budha and he was misunderstood. They are in such a high level that only few can understand him.
Love, Light and Unity! Its time to bring pure awareness to its self and sow this tapestry into the one great work it truly is. Putting the "I" and "U" back in Illuminati.
The illumination my friend, is not related to the way you move your body, because the state of illumination do not resides in the flesh but in the spirit
how can you become one with your body if your body is merely an illusion of energy supposedly made of atoms connected to each other via an invisible force i.e. magnetic field i.e. molecules
If u don't think but see u will recognise there is no I and no one to experience time,so words are just a manifestation of Wooow...who is experiencing it?
Awareness! the great answer from Buddha. If we can able aware everything around us and can be able to reflect to it, then, everything will be fine. Great Job
Somebody asked why the world is so screwed up. It is because everyone is scared. Everyone is scared to direct their focus inwards. To explore your inner self will result in certain death. The death of everything you have ever come to believe.
Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders.
-Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. I agree with you, but if you write this in your final exam at school they'll put a massive 0 on 100!

This morning I woke up with the question of why the Buddha-or any devotee- is misunderstood in society. When I went on the computer I found OSHO telling me what it is all about. Such joy to hear this. Thank you OSHO wherever you are.
