I do not reject Muhammad. He was a messenger of GOD and the FINAL prophet. I fully acknowledge that. I just refuse to make distinctions among any GOD's messengers, as decreed many times in the Quran. The places of worship belong to GOD, and no other names are to be mentioned besides GOD. So, the moment you put Muhammad's name beside GOD in the Shahada you are 1) making distinctions among messengers, and 2) you are fulfilling Sura 63:1-3. THe correct shahada can be found in Sura 3:18, and you will notice Muhammad's name is not there. By the way, all the religious duties came via Abraham. Do you think Abraham put Muhammad in his Shahada?? No, of course not. He was devoted to GOD alone.

By the way, 33:40 does not say last and final messenger. It says 'rasoolallah wa Khaatimun Nabiyeen'.

Rasoolallah = messenger

wa = AND

Khaatimun = final

Nabiyeen = prophet

There is a distinction between messenger and prophet. No where in the entire Quran does it say Muhammad is the last messenger, ONLY the last prophet. Do you always attribute falsehood to the Quran?

In fact, 3:81 defines the difference between 'messenger' and 'prophet'. Prophets are scripture-bearing messengers. Messengers confirm scriptures. I was in the same position. I grew up in a state where people are very critical of any informatin given to them, many people around me were atheists/agnostics/etc. I came to a point in my life where I was doubting God myself, what my parents taught me was the correct religion, etc. I started to ask "why?"
