It may not look like much except fruity parlor tricks but you wouldn't have chance with any hand held weapon the exception of a gun. They would eat you up with little effort, not even worth it. Its a good thing they are peaceful for the most part.

I used to do this when I was about 10 years old too. Me and my mates would do it as a a laugh and thats why Im not impressed with board and brick breaking because it really is nothing special at all. Martial arts like muay thai was created by someone that has learn from the one martial art then he created his own style that specialize in knees, and elbows. Just like Bruce lee learned from his master Ip Man he was train Wing Chun, but then later on created a martial art that fits him naming it Jeet Kwon Do.

@SkemeKOS They don't suck, the trainers are okay. it's just that over here in holland other fighting arts are much bigger. as no-one see's the use of learning to fight where you're going to get your head smashed in on the streets since you're that stupid to take it on the ground.

As for the trainings, I used to spar often with a school which had been there for 5 years, but eventually quited. I don't know if their students trained for longer than those 5 years or not.

@Eterud I've never lost against any of them even in sparring. while I was at the time that we sparred often just in the martial arts for yes... 6 months. But then again I am quick and have a decend standing up-fighting (I'm crap at ground fighting, but if you're strong enough in stand up a fight (almost) never goes down, and the rules that we used when training together where minimal, so that worked for me as MMA has way to many rules, such as no backfist, no downward elbows etc..
