@54321nicolaskurtf is your very arrogant bias opinion. Now please respect the majority of people's opinions by at least saying that you "think" nirvana sucks. because clearly alot of people don't think so.
I'm not a huge paul mccartney fan at all, and i only really like his work inside the beatles, but his unplugged stuff is actually pretty cool :)
@Amiles666 ok by that logic u should have wrote "i think this goes up there with the nirvana" and no i dont have to respect the majority of people and anyway the majority of people probably don't like nirvana 17 doesnt = majority and ppl thumb up comments that already have thumbs up with out ever looking at them
i noticed he messed up a bit on the lyrics Run the risk of knowing that our love may soon be gone. is what is supposed to be said but he says may not last long but o well its still freakin amazing
It's so nice to see McCartney singing that song, because he doesn't do that very often in his current tours and also is good to see the arrangement that was kept really similar to the original recording.
this song coould have been my mum and dads theme song coz their 37yrs marriage all about working out to keep them together in the midst of my dads womanizing...a lot of forgiving but slow in forgetting...theres love coz they are still together...if one finds their true love they cannot easily turn around their back on them and forget..i realized it now with my love gg...love u..
This is the BBCs Sounds of the 60s Beatles AZ song for week startg 9JAN10. It can be heard online for 1 week after 9JAN where a short history of the song is given 39 mins into the prog ENJOY
Even though this is mostly Paul's song, this always makes me think of John because it is so obvious who wrote the middle eight. This song is the song that made me start recognizing their lyrical patterns and I always laugh when I hear the middle eight of this song because it is so John (that's because John wrote it). Great song.
i wouldn't call it mostly Paul's song at all, it's as close to half and half as you can get i'd say. and I wouldn't call John's part the middle eight either, since you're talking "bridge" and John's part goes throughout about half the song.
It goes over half the song because they use the same middle eight twice in the song. You can use the bridge more than one time. The song is still Paul's and was 85% his creation. But it doesn't really matter to me. I don't really care who wrote what or how much of what (well, I do, but only from a fan standpoint, not a snobby one). I just like to enjoy the songs.
possibly the very first 'unplugged' show and truly unplugged...there's even a mic on the bass...way cool...I have this whole show and recently burned onto a DVD from a VHS tape
I think McCartney was good here but I think he has gotten better since, I think vocaly he has got sharper in the past 10 years, I think in the late eighties early 90's he got lax with vocals, but rebounded in the later 90's
@jonnyveliky Give me a break you idiot. 'It's up there with Nirvana'

The middle eight = the bridge. "Life is very short and there's no time" etc etc.
