I've yet to see any discs with my own eyes. This is compelling. What I've seen are what appear to be orange balls of light that shoot in different directions. and instead of shooting up out of the atmosphere to get away like in other videos. They instead just dissapear like somone turning off the lightswitch. very strange and creepy. But I saw them on two different occasions. both of them were hunting expeditions with other witnesses.

I've seen more pictures like these. It's the reflection of the LCD lightstrip as you said. On the other pictures the LCD lightstrip was two rows high, and that's exactly what showed on the pictures. It's amazing that everybody misses the similarities.
