@Skyifictionable I'm from Cornawall don't speak for me you cunt.....most of us are proud to be English....the Irish are free you muppet, Scotland and Wales are free to leave when ever they want!! finally us English will be free from Scotland the land who sponges from us!!!
@Skyifictionable The Irish in Northern Ireland are free......you see the Union Jack flying every where in Northern Ireland...they want to be part of the UK.....so stop speaking for other countries.....most the Scottish people wish to remain in the UK as well look as the surveys carried out!!! Scotland's public spending far out strips the tax generated there...all facts.
@Tommyfungun I am from Northern Ireland. I am speaking for the Irish there. We do not want to be part of the UK. We want to burn every single Union Jack flying from every fucking lamppost in practically every fucking town in the North Eastern part anyway. Get it?
If most Scots want to remain in the Union they wouldn't have voted the SNP into majority in their Parliament.
And prove your last statement, I tried looking for evidence but all I can find is trolls on Yahoo! Answers...
@Skyifictionable According to my cousin, who is from Scotland, the SNP won because of a poor showing by other parties, particularly Labour which has done very well there in the past. Plus, they even virtually rigged the voting by putting "Alex Salmond for First Minister" on the ballot paper so that it was first on the list and they gained votes because voters rank their votes and so many people voted for the SNP over another party by accident.
@firehound100 Well, we'll see in the referendum. There is no point of saying that Scots don't think this and Scots don't think that. When in reality we have no idea.
I'm kinda sadden some Cornish don't feel as Cornish as they used to. It'd be a shame to lose the Cornish culture. Well, that's English imperialism for ye.
@Skyifictionable Most of the UK's money comes from London and the banks, which also give us debt but without the city the UK would be just like any other middle rate country, don't talk about things you know nothing about, we should be united, the England doesn't need anyone or anything, it just makes our lives easier and those of the rest of the UK.
@Tommyfungun - 'Tommyfungun' has just commented: "I'm from Cornawall don't speak for me you cunt.....most of us are proud to be English...."
So where is Cornawall exactly? You cannot spell Cornwall and profess to being from Cornwall. No you are not Cornish, you are a paid British government troll.

I visited Cornwall once. It was very sunny and warm. The people are very nice. At night they chant invocations to the moon and summon the spirits of darkness. They like to hold orgies which anyone is free to participate in. No-one works and they all laze about during the day drinking beer. At the summer solstice they build a wickerman in which they burn an innocent tourist. Cornwall is a lovely place which I plan to visit often.
@Derwydd3 Stupid?! To despise another group of "people" so much you wish they were all dead?! Isn't that exactly what you celt scumbags wish for but don't declare openly?! FUCK YOU!!!! ENGLAND FOREVER!!!!
@shaun123902 HAHAHAHA Shithole of a country?! ROFL You mean the most beautiful country on God's Earth that’s a million times the size of your little county, a million times richer, a million times more powerful, a million times more beautiful, a million times more pure and infinitely better in every way possible?! Yes that's England fucker! YOU ARE ENGLISH! Learn to stop hating yourself! Then again, you are from that shit little county that, what was it Giles Coren once...
I'm really for Cornish independence; but I don't think you can call yourself Cornish if you don't speak Cornish. Much like you couldn't really call yourself English if you didn't speak English.
The oldest border in the whole of the British Isles is the border between Kernow and England.
The Tamar line was confirmed as the border by King Athelstan in 935AD - so it's 1000 years old.
Kernow has existed as a separate nation for over 1000 years prior to the arrival of the anglo-saxons on these shores - an Englishman suggesting the non-existence of the Cornish nation is as laughable to the ears of any knowledgeable scholar as a yank disputing the existence of the native american indian.
@cornubian Your pitiful “fight” for "independence" is as laughable as the jocks'! YOU ARE A COUNTY OF ENGLAND; YOU ALWAYS HAVE BEEN AND ALWAYS WILL BE-GET USED TO THAT LITTLE FACT FUCKER! You really think you, like the dirty jock cunts would last five minutes without the vastly superior English and all our money?! HAHAHAHA NO!!!! YOU ARE ENGLISH-ALL OF YOU!!!! FUCK YOO!!!! ENGLAND FOREVER!!!!
this is absolute lies. So many english people have migrated up and down the original cornish nation from hundreds upon hundreds of years ago is long gone. Until you are actually a nation within a nation, you get nothing but muslim diversity to your gene pool
Celtic Cornwall this. Celtic Cornwall that. If you believe our closest neighbour you would think Cornwall is the only county in Britain with a thriving Celtic heritage.
Well think again. A forgotten county rich in myth and legend, artistic, creative people, great kings and queens, druids and bards, and dark moor gods and river monsters. CELTIC DEVON. Just as much a part of Celtic Britain as anywhere else.
@dartmoordog Ha if cornwall became independent where would the money come from?...lol you live in cloud cookoo land...very small, irelevent,no money, little man sydrome...nearly as bad as the jocks...lol
@dartmoordog - You are commenting a lot on this video strange but most of the Dev lot I know arent that bothered abt us - what part of Dartmoor or South Hams are you from?
@cornubian I have to confess to originating from Torquay . I know, I know, it is a god forsaken place. I am living S Dartmoor now and love it, been here for 25 years. But a Devonian, Wescountry Man and Janner through and through.
@demographicwinter Cornish and the Welsh aren't racist. They accept difference as long as it does not destroy their right to exist. The English have presented more of a problem in terms of the cultural destruction of these Celtic peoples than the Muslims or any other group. What are you on about, 'mutations'? That's weird. If someone's Cornish they might have ancestors from the pre Anglo Saxon era and that could mean Roman, which could mean anywhere in the then known world.
if you ask a foreigner if they've heard of Devon they wouldn't have a clue what your on about BUT if you ask if they've heard of Cornwall then they know about the beautiful country!!!!
@Cjenkz224 I love a bit of cross border banter with me old mate cornubian...But, please Devonshire by the grace of god. There is in no shape or form is Cornwall a superior county to Devon...Long way to go yet me ansone.
@dartmoordog I've lived in North Devon and I'm Cornish. Actually, I've lived all over Britain. I've also spent time in Plymouth. I was struck with the resemblance of people and left over culture in North Devon to Cornwall.
I "thumbed up" for Cornwall to be independent.....The sooner the bloody better. Ban all those bloody English idiots from visiting and spending their money, and cut down those awful electric pylons that supply power to Cornwall and scar the lovely Devonshire countryside.......Cornish Independence...YES PLEASE!
@dartmoordog - So you fancy your chances in the Tamar Cup this year then? Nothing like a bit of neighbourly rivalry. Tell me Why is that tor named the Queen of the Moor...?
@MultiRory1 Oh hell mate, I KNOW I am a Celt, my name is Breton....How about you, probably third generation Brummie from what I hear when I go to Cornwall.
@dartmoordog Cornish and Irish not brummie as I said before definition of the word Devon " An English county with massive inferiority complex of it's Celtic neighbour leading to bizarre behaviour such as claiming Celtic identity, ripping off another country's flag and trying to claim anything Cornish as Devon ,the English inhabitants of the county of Devon can easily be spotted standing on the border of England staring longingly and jealousy at the Celtic Country of Cornwall.
@MultiRory1 Hahahahah...I love that, what a great reply But please, who is showing the insecurity. I would much rather be from Dorset than Cornwall if I were not a Devonian. But what a great reply, I give you that, I mean you have Newquay and Redruth....Enough said!...Oh by the way, my mothers father was from Co Leitrim, not Wolverhampton like yours.
@dartmoordog Yes we cannot compete with the scenic wonder that is Plymouth or the majestic beauty of Torbay or the other numerous hell holes that dot your county, unlike say the spectacular landscape around Redruth and Camborne or stunning coastline around Newquay.
Wolverhampton alas no my English friend my parents are from the west of Cornwall and the east of Ireland so I have always thought myself blessed that I am not an English man.
@MultiRory1 Yeah, you got me there.Torquay is a s***t hole. But, your landscape pales into total insignificance compared to the world renown Jurassic Coast, the rolling beauty of the S Hams not to mention stunning Dartmoor. Hang on, you have Bodmin Moor tehe. I thank my late parents daily, that I was born east of the Tamar. Solid identity and no insecurity...A proud Englishman. And yes, I do recognise you as Cornish and that Cornwall should be independent. Oh please.
@MultiRory1 The name Devon derives from the name of the Celtic people who inhabited the southwestern peninsula of Britain at the time of the Roman invasion c. AD 50, known as the Dumnonii, thought to mean "deep valley dwellers". In the Brythonic Celtic languages, Devon is known as Dyfnaint (Welsh), Devnent (Breton) and Dewnens (Cornish). ...I just love wiki lol
@cornubian Ah, ya got me...Cheeky I am. I guess we should give you a crack at the Tamar Cup, we will leave all our Premiership players out to give you a chance. We all know where the rugby heartland is....And I aint talking England lol.
So would the percentage of people who want independance be happy with Cornwall being independant but remaining part of the UK with England, Scotland, Wales & N.Ireland??
" Anglo-Saxon and Celtic ancestries are myths all Britons and including the Irish descend from Viking"
Interesting statement you make there,Pytheas travelled from Greece to Cornwall on the trade route for tin in 325BC the people he met the Pretani Celtic for painted or tattooed translated to Greek becomes Pretannike land of the painted people, 55BC Romans translate it to Latin becomes Pretannia then later Britannia.Vikings arrive late 8th century .
@WakeupEngland If you were born in Cornwall then you would know that the Cornish dialect is very different from the Devon/Somerset dialect, the Cornish gradually adopted english in place of the native Cornish language after it was forced on them due to the prayer book rebellion/genocide of 1549 this is why the Cornish dialect is regarded as having a substantial Celtic influence. The Hampshire dialect is nothing like Cornish though it is similar to Somerset
time to break the shackles of imprialism, may i remind you kernow has never been part of england offical even though thjrough ignorence england belives it is. Kernow is only was a vessal to english wealth and cheap mining then when it became to expensive they went elsewhere. Give us back or country you fools we are no longer going to take ur rules
There is big Celtic populations all over England. Cornwall, Cumbria, Lancashire and Devon being the top 4 in England. Why is it that the people of the north-west (cumbria and Lancashire) are proud to be English despite being mostly from a Celtic background yet the Cornish feel the need to scream independance? Seems the Cornish have a chip on the old shoulder. I am a proud Lancastrian who has a Celtic surname and I am also proud to be English. Grow up Cornwall, your not the only Celtic county...
Cornwall is a very nice county and i have nothing but great words for it but there really is no need to hate upon fellow englishmen. We give you the tourism.
@AJSProductions We are not english, the lie that the Duke is just a landowner has finally been blown apart,Cornwall is a territorial possession of the Duchy of Cornwall not the crown of england for this reason the crowns writ has no force in Cornwall but Duke has all the powers (which he uses) of a head of state in the Duchy
@AJSProductions Do you not find it odd that a "county" has its own head of state over 100 acts by parliament to protect its sovereignty and that no MP can ask questions about the Duchy, I know of no county that is treated this way even the Duchy of Lancashire is under the crown and its powers ceremonial.Kernow is a Celtic country were the english have forced a lie on us since 1549 while the Duke maintains in secret for his own interest that its a separate state
good luck with your campain for independence. i will be eternally gratefull when that day comes, im sick of my taxes being used to keep the workshy of cornwall, scotland, wales. the sooner the better for me. think the rest of england will get by with the loss of a few pasties..
yeah we must do this right no more paintings over English signs and flags thats childish. Lets grow up or put up. We to firstly get a new petition done as the last one was conducted in 03 then do some opinion polls to see whats what. hen hopefully the english dominated goverment may be convined we have a real case to present and grant our devolution case which should always come before indepence as our brothers Alba and cynru have done before Us then Independence can be sought
How's this for an idea: an England and a Cornwall living side by side in a spirit of economic, military and fraternal co-operation; an independent Palestine and an independent Israel living side by side in a spirit of economic, military and fraternal co-operation and every small nation from Russia's friends in South Ossetia to the West's friends in Kosovo being recognised by everybody? Or is that too nice for this period in history? Just my dream...
Cornwall is NOT a part of England thank god. I am a Devonian and a 100% supporter of Cornish Independence....Keep the border strong and in an ideal world, inpenetrable.
@dartmoordog im afraid to burst your english pride but if your a devonian like myself then your as much from the same stock as the cornish :) its only a river that separates us we were all one big celtic unit til late midle ages even the language was the same til mid 1800's. exeter was the capitl til late 900. and as for dna all the same til you get past somerset then it changes repidly. do the research i have over the last few years and cornwall/devon being deifferent is modern political rubish
@rollerballrico Absolutely right sir. I am as much a Celt as any Cornish person, my name is Celtic. But I am English, an English celt and do not harp on about independence, let the Cornish have their independence....PLEASE!
Further to my other comments on the origins and age of Cross of St Piran / Peran, the National flag of Cornwall / Kernow: The Cross of St. Piran dates from at least the early 1200s (most likely before) whereas the Cross of St. George was only finally adopted exclusively by the English in the 1500s.
i love the way every one thinks cornwall is to be fully independent we just want recognition as a national minority and stay part of Britain but we are not English
Damn right it is not England, but people should not use it to be anti-English. It is not our fault that the BRITISH government hardly recognizes Kernow as a separate country, just as it is not the fault of the Cornish, Welsh and Scottish that England doesn't have a separate parliament (which it does need, as they neglect all of England other than the areas around London, and also the capital regions of other ''British'' countries). English independence from the UK exist for a reason.
@TheFatalInstinct1 I know what you mean. I never visit Kernow at holiday season. I go out of season in the winter and then I go inland to the sacred pagan sites. No poxy chocolate box harbour scenes for me thanks. Give me the real Kernow
The devon cornish border as it stands today is modern in historical terms and was much further east taking in devon & some of somerset but no mention of that. Get your heads out of your backsides and stop tailor making history to suit your silly cause.
A correction to an earlier comment of mine: The ancient Breton flag in the Breton language is called the "Kroaz Du" and this flag is derived from the Cornish flag (it is an exact reverse). The Kroaz Du existed from at least 1300AD and probably goes back further (it was flown at the Combat of the Thirty where the Bretons won against the English). The Cornish flag it can thus be seen is older than the English flag. Cornwall cannot be England when it predates the existence of the other country.
@tubsuk no cornwall is a duchy not a county the only reason you think cornwall is england is because its on the bloody map you have done no research into this argument so leave it end of
@Pro13east Well then, seeing as though you've said I've done no reading on this you must be right. I wish I was as clever and awesome as you. Cornwall is a duchy yes, but it is a duchy within England (and yes Duchies can be within Kingdoms (UK), just like other entities e.g. Principalities). As for maps, people should believe the maps as they are correct to encompass Cornwall in England. Sorry to burst your bubble.
@tubsuk i know every one wishes they was clever as me yer dutchy can be within a kingdom (UK) i can accept that Cornish British but not English in sorry just isnt English we have different language similar to welsh has both Brythonic Celtic language's im up for a fair argument if you are. but honestly i could list 100 reason why not English and bit blood harsh leting a whole country culture and tradition just die because England wants some decent beaches :s
We are circulating a petition calling on the government to recognise the Cornish as a National minority. It has been created by a Cornish person who is not a member of any political party or organisation but who is very concerned at what is happening in Cornwall. Please sign it and pass it on to your friends. We want to protect what there is left before all is lost !:
h t tp ://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/2835
For those who are interested, the name of the Cornish flag in the ancient Cornish language (Kernewek) is:
"Gwynn ha Du"
English="The White and the Black" from smelting a cross of white tin ore across the black stone from which it came. It is linked to Peran (St Piran) one of the National Patron Saints of Kernow (Cornwall). Peran landed and preached at Perranporth. This has a ruin of one of the oldest churchs in the British Isles. Others say it is thebinding of Christ and pagan Cornwall.
@cornubian Why don't you work to get recognition as an equal constituent country of the current UK like Wales did. You could get your own constitution like all the other countries of the UK.
The Bretons, many of whom came to Briezh (Brittany) from Kernow (Cornwall) in the 5th, 6th and 7th centuries flew the same flag but in reverse to the Cornish. This was (and still is) called in Breton "Gwen ha Du". It is a black cross on a white background. It represents the Britons and Cornish in their new land across the sea. This flag became the Breton Naval Flag. It was flown by the winning Breton contingent at the 'Combat of the Thirty' in 1351AD. The flag is shown on a painting from 1480AD
I THOUGHT WALES WAS THE OLDEST CULTURE IN THE ANGLO-CELT ISLES!! I STILL DO! BUT WHAT'S WRONG WITH, SAY, DEVON? SOME OF YOU SOUND VERY ANTI-ENGLISH. BEHAVE YOURSELVES! USE A BALLOT, NOT YOUR GOVS, TO GET HOME RULE. OH, AND WHAT ABOUT CUMBRIA? SHE WANTS HOME RULE TOO, YOU KNOW. DEVON AND SOMERSET MIGHT JOIN YOU, YOU KNOW. BUT SET A GOOD EXAMPLE. GET RID OF ANGLOPHOBIA BEFORE IT GETS RID OF YOU. DON'T BE RACIST. IT'S NOT RIGHT.
please will some english grow up you know nothing of cornwall or its history all you know is that it is on the english map yes i will agree we are a fuckin county but we should be aloud to be return to a country like scotland and wales show some respect and have some far banter other th an posting a load of shit that you know nothing about cant blame us cornish for trying to protect our country
Kernow yw konna tyr orth penn Breten Veur. Kernow yw bro geltek na Sowsnek !
Brilliant... sooner you get you/we get independance the better...Scotland and Wales will soonish and the Welsh Havnt got a Clue... i speak from experience on that one ive lived in ther glum unhappy land for long enough, they wouldnt recognize a sense of humour if they were formerly introduced....
"in fact your (sic) in affluent south of england", oh yeah? i don't see much evidence of that affluence on the streets of camborne or redruth! don't let the picturesque likes of st. ives, padstow and rock delude you. we have the lowest wages in the country and levels of deprivation that would rival your average inner city. oh, and the last working tin mine shut in 1998.
Oh dear - the English! Dear Whitbyjet 85 - Some suggested reading - Cornwall, a History by Philip Payton, or perhaps better - Children's History of Cornwall by Paggy Burns; bothe from Amazon.
god,i took snp seriously, but cornwall not being english just makes me fucking laugh. You do realize that if i was to trace all of you cornish nationalists the majority of you would be of norman and anglo stock who simply migrated. The original cornish tribe is so tiny and was overun by immigration
When my great grandfather(5x) was pressganged in Falmouth in 1784, he jumped ship in Nova Scotia and eventually founded a small town that he named New Cornwall, not New England! The Cornish diaspora has spread around the world, mining for gold, copper and tin, bringing Cornish culture everywhere from the US and Mexico to Asia and Africa. Cornwall forever!!!
@lancedyer1 So every single person in Cornwall has a surname of Cornish origin do they? I'm afraid you're a deluded fool if you think Cornwall is any different to the rest of the UK.
@Pro13east You pillock! Everywhere on this land was around before England, Scotland & Wales. The place was tribal. Do you want us all to go back to wearing goatskin leotards? Are you also aware that the Celts didn't originate in Britain? They were immigrants to these shores so if you want to be pedantic about it, the Cornish should fuck off back to where they came from!

Cornwall not England we have our own language witch is sadly not much spoken our own culture tradition kilt history and ways of life if you haven't noticed all ready i dont mind the English just let us be recognised seriously over than having our history hidden away like battles against ENGLAND! for example and more so look up facts before you leave your hate comment on how i am supposedly wrong about the place were i was born and bread and also show some respect
I, we need your advice. We are from Dudley, West Midlands and we are seeking independence from England. We want to be oppressed just like you. We have started form our own Government and our HQ is at the Lamp Tavern. We are not short of horses and we know how to look menacing on horseback with our spears but we need you advice on flag design. Down with England, fight against oppression.
@theinfinatetroll You had better tell Cornwall council chief executive Kevin Lavery who has written to the goverment on behalf of Cornwall council urging them to include the Cornish in the council of europe framework convention for the protection of national minorities, the european parliment has also urged the british goverment to include Cornwall in the FCPNM.
DNA Research by Stephen Oppenheimer had disproven the victorian myth that Celts were cleansed by Germanic tribes. In fact 80% of British DNA comes from the earliest settlers who were here long before celtic and saxon culture was imposed by replaced ruling classes. The general population has never changed.
I agree that Cornwall shouldn't be in England. I've always considered the Welsh and the Cornish (the Waelisc), the Scots and the Irish, the Spaniards and the French to be very similar to each other. The English on the other hand, especially those of us in the east, have more in common with our kinfolk across the North Sea.
Hopefully we'll see the end of this artificial "United" Kingdom very soon. Germanic Ængla Land and Ibero-Celtic Scotland, Wales & Cornwall can then be free from each other.
@RideoftheHerlathing Scotland is Caledonian Pictish proved by the OGAP4 code taken over 12 years of research (1996~2008), so it's not included in that frame work mentality, that makes them older, far older than even the Keltoi (Celts) that the Romans encountered, as the Celts only came to southern Ireland and Wales and England a few centuries before the Romans did, but the people of these lands have been here from many thousands of years before that, Scots for example can trace back 14,000yrs.
i am no longer interested in your English dreams and constitution as we are not 48th council around your round table of fantasy and no longer sing to Land of hope and Glory. To Trelawney we stand to Kernow we rise 5th Nation of the UK a Celtic Nation one People of Kernow
@MrKingbayliss Well said, this message should be spread around as much as possible, especially to the English, as they are the most ignorant of all by majority.
Ever since England has existed, it's tried to make the entire British isles English only.
England spent the entire 19th century trying to make everybody they came into contact with in the world as English, by speaking, dressing, eating and acting like them.
You ARE a part of ENGLAND, it is ENGLAND! it is only a county, it's like saying that KENT is not ENGLAND because it was occupied by almost all The JUTES from JUTLAND in DENMARK.
@psviking1 A very unoriginal argument.Kernow is not a county of england (even our council recognises that) we are de jure as a duchy (kilbrandon report 1973). The duke has all the powers of a monarch in Kernow (these are not just ceremonial powers such as fore shore rights, bona vacantia, land rights, incomes raised in the duchy ..ect meaning the duke is not just a private landowner). This means that the de jure constitutional status of Kernow is a DUCHY and COUNTRY not a county of england.

Answers...
Skyifictionable 2 weeks ago
@Skyifictionable According to my cousin, who is from Scotland, the SNP won because of a poor showing by other parties, particularly Labour which has done very well there in the past. Plus, they even virtually rigged the voting by putting "Alex Salmond for First Minister" on the ballot paper so that it was first on the list and they gained votes because voters rank their votes and so many people voted for the SNP over another party by accident.
firehound100 2 weeks ago
@firehound100 Well, we'll see in the referendum. There is no point of saying that Scots don't think this and Scots don't think that. When in reality we have no idea.

Well think again. A forgotten county rich in myth and legend, artistic, creative people, great kings and queens, druids and bards, and dark moor gods and river monsters. CELTIC DEVON. Just as much a part of Celtic Britain as anywhere else.

MultiRory1 2 months ago
@WakeupEngland If you were born in Cornwall then you would know that the Cornish dialect is very different from the Devon/Somerset dialect, the Cornish gradually adopted english in place of the native Cornish language after it was forced on them due to the prayer book rebellion/genocide of 1549 this is why the Cornish dialect is regarded as having a substantial Celtic influence. The Hampshire dialect is nothing like Cornish though it is similar to Somerset

Please read, not rant!

god,i took snp seriously, but cornwall not being english just makes me fucking laugh.

Cornwall forever!!!
jmsdxtr 6 months ago
It shows the lack of education among the English that they do not know the history of Cornwall.
It never has been a part of England - just an early example of 'ethnic cleansing' by the English establishment!
lancedyer1 6 months ago 3
@lancedyer1 So every single person in Cornwall has a surname of Cornish origin do they? I'm afraid you're a deluded fool if you think Cornwall is any different to the rest of the UK.

Cornwall was around before England FACT so how the fuck does that make us English its impossible
Pro13east 6 months ago
@Pro13east You pillock! Everywhere on this land was around before England, Scotland & Wales. The place was tribal. Do you want us all to go back to wearing goatskin leotards? Are you also aware that the Celts didn't originate in Britain? They were immigrants to these shores so if you want to be pedantic about it, the Cornish should fuck off back to where they came from!

You ARE a part of ENGLAND, it is ENGLAND! it is only a county, it's like saying that KENT is not ENGLAND because it was occupied by almost all The JUTES from JUTLAND in DENMARK.
psviking1 9 months ago
@psviking1 A very unoriginal argument.Kernow is not a county of england (even our council recognises that) we are de jure as a duchy (kilbrandon report 1973). The duke has all the powers of a monarch in Kernow (these are not just ceremonial powers such as fore shore rights, bona vacantia, land rights, incomes raised in the duchy ..ect meaning the duke is not just a private landowner). This means that the de jure constitutional status of Kernow is a DUCHY and COUNTRY not a county of england.
